time time time
we re on the brink of finding out who did laura palmer in.

im right there with matthew, the triplets of belleville rocks.. [inlink]emily,57[/inlink]

just an isolated incident.

for the 31 days of august, i will do 31 things that I've never done in buffalo before. this involves going to visit the grain silos, visiting the eternal flame. any suggestions about what else should be on that list?

how will anyone get their fill of stargate now?

that is one messed up story. i just read about some space satellite N-Fire that we're putting into orbit this summer, which will gather info about rockets and other space weapons, but is also fully weaponised. despite the fact that they've been planning that for ages (they being PNAC project for a new american century), N-Fire can now be touted as necessary against the 'war on terror'. *sigh* its just more of the same.

sooner or later it always hits 330 am.
so theres this guy named cory arcangel who fiddled with an 8 bit nintendo and made it so that only the clouds appeared on a super mario bros cartridge. i didn't realize it at the time but when i was at the museum of moving image (http://www.movingimage.us/alt/culture.html) i saw his 'i shot andy warhol shooting gallery' piece, which was duck hunt remastered to feature andy and cans of soup. anyways, to see his stuff, click on this his work was among that of 108 artists just featured in the whitney biennial

anyways cory's band paper rad will be in buffalo this friday playing. and check out the show, at 208 north st.

I've gotten in the crafty mood lately, mostly because i was sposed to be cleaning up for the house opening and wanted to get distracted. come on over, folks, especially if youre thinking of relocating onto the elmwood strip. here's a link if you want an idea of what you're getting into.. www.nickelcitycoop.org

dont worry, get naked
whats the best way for us to learn about each other without going through every post

[my disclaimer] i'm sure someone has already posted about this or youve already heard this but i havent gone through every single journal in the past few weeks (sorry!).

if you didn't get naked last time

(i think after the naked estrip party, someone actually posted a photo of this, but i can't seem to find it) anyways, spencer tunick
is coming to town to take one of those huge naked people photos in front of the old train station on the east side (old central terminal in case you don't know it, go to the east side and check it out, it was designed by the same person who did grand central in nyc). so they're looking for people to pose, here's the link to sign up.
