an addiction i dont need to worry about
oh, estrip, how i can always rely on you to be here and for you estrippers to have posted many journals for me to peruse. its a comforting feeling

I've gotten in the crafty mood lately, mostly because i was sposed to be cleaning up for the house opening and wanted to get distracted. come on over, folks, especially if youre thinking of relocating onto the elmwood strip. here's a link if you want an idea of what you're getting into.. www.nickelcitycoop.org

dont worry, get naked
whats the best way for us to learn about each other without going through every post

[my disclaimer] i'm sure someone has already posted about this or youve already heard this but i havent gone through every single journal in the past few weeks (sorry!).

if you didn't get naked last time

(i think after the naked estrip party, someone actually posted a photo of this, but i can't seem to find it) anyways, spencer tunick
is coming to town to take one of those huge naked people photos in front of the old train station on the east side (old central terminal in case you don't know it, go to the east side and check it out, it was designed by the same person who did grand central in nyc). so they're looking for people to pose, here's the link to sign up.

making wishes, watching dreams
fire in mike's coffee cup

i just finished reading the zine of someone i met three years ago. i hardly knew him, and boy its strange reading about someone's life and not knowing them, letting the words and details fill in the notion of the person. i get carried away thinking about how this journal wont tell you a thing about me, but at the same time it must. after all, i am moved to the point of writing a note to him. his mother had a brain tumor and he toured in a band with a friend whom i had met when he happened to pass through this town. his words just make sense. i can write and write all i want (tho i'll claim to never have the time to) but im sure i wouldnt be able to incite any notion of caring in someone reading my words. but still..

who cares wins

the kitchen that we've been working on for a year is finally done. and fancy it is. it feels like sunshine.

good night and don't let the bed bugs bite

3 am already. where are you, wednesday night. it is that season of the year again. somehow it doesn't feel right without charles.

thats the price of love
there is no sound of music

lollapalooza organized by le tigre has been cancelled. so much for seeing morrissey and all those other great bands... i just realized the magnetic fields played in toronto 4 days ago... no siren festival for me, unless someone wants to go to nyc within a weeks time. hmph..

know of any good shows coming up?
