09/05/05 21:48 - 66ºF - ID#20735getting hair did
finally got my hair did by (e:lilho). it's been over a year since i've gotten it cut, so yeah, it was scary. especially because i've had the same hair dresser since i was born.

moved back to school (RIT). good to be back i guess. it should be a good year. i had my first class today and it's probably the easiest math class i've ever taken in my life. i love that all i have left to take are a few electives then i'm DONE.

applying to grad school will be scary and hopefully i'll get in somewhere, but i'm kind of looking at it as an opportunity to start over. i think that's part of the reason i want to go to university of washington in seattle--it's completely disconnected from everything i know, i'd have a chance to start from scratch and put everything behind me.

anyway, tomorrow's my only full day. i have all my classes...i'm really excited to take women and the visual arts and wines of the world--it's been a while since i've really been able to fit in a class outside of my major. i do start doing the TA thing though on wednesday, i'm a little nervous about that, mostly because i'm not good at public speaking, but that's ok. i met the guy i'm TA'ing for today. he's really really nice, but very stereotypically mathematician like--we went from talking about life and our family backgrounds to him asking me "what do you think is the most influential theorem in mathematics of all time?" and seeing that i'm not good at being put on the spot, i'm sure i sounded like a complete moron.

ok, time to have an amaretto sour to celebrate that it's the first time in college that i didn't have homework on the first day of the quarter!

09/01/05 23:52 - 70ºF - ID#20734feelin crappy.
today was weird. hung out with b for time number 2 and i feel so confused and alone....i can't figure out if it was the right decision or not, cuz when we're together everything is so good. we just kind of hung out all day...went for a run at delaware park, saw the wedding crashers (which is actually pretty funny), and then got dinner at gabriel's gate. i had a lot of fun...i just wish things were different and that we could be ok.

tomorrow i have to pack. i leave on saturday and haven't even started....i'm so lazy sometimes. i can't figure out if i'm excited to go back to school or not yet. i'm a little nervous about the whole TA thing but it'll be good to start now so i'm more prepared for grad school. but yeah, tomorrow's gonna be spent packing. i think sarah might be cutting my hair too, which will be good because i haven't cut it in over a year now. after that hopefully i'll get to say bye to some friends and see b again (which will be hard, but i really want to).

sleep time....busy day tomorrow.

so matt and paul told me to join, and here i am. it's late...had an uneventful day. yesterday was bad, but i'll get over it eventually i guess. i've never kept up a blog for too so we'll see how it goes...maybe now that i know people on it i'll stay. and it's prettier than most others i've seen.

ok that's all for now, more later.
