I'll post a little something for the fans out there. Or just the 5 people who actually read my blog. So:

1. There's nothing like Fashion Week to make you feel like the: fattest, shortest, ugliest, most unfashionable person in the city. Really it's awesome. I went down to Bryant Park the other day to stalk whatever celebs I could see. No luck in seeing anyone famous. I did however see models and lots of expensive looking stuff. Yea for fashion.

2. I finally sucked it up and got a new phone because of the whole Cingular debacle. I hate it. I loved my old phone. The guy looked at it and laughed. He didn't think they made phones like that anymore. The new phone is way to small to actually be of any use. I make fun of the Gordon Gekko brick cell phone, but really I mock it because I love it. I wish I had one.

3. Apple came out with the new ipods. I love them and will be buying one. They are so small now. All I can think of is the SNL skit they did with the ever shrinking ipod. Except now its actually happening.

4. I actually purchased a ticket to Buffalo for Sept 29-Oct 1. Be ready to party like a rockstar!! I fully expect everyone to be at PMT's house warming party so I can either mock you or be friends with you. Either one. (please realize that was 75% sarcasm and 25% actual)

5. It's 3:48pm and I can't wait to get the heck out of work.

6. On a more somber note. I'm so glad 9/11 has come and gone again for another year. My mom called me about 5 times that day to check on me. On one hand, it was nice. On the other I didn't really want to discuss it 5 times. It's days like that when you realize that no matter what nyc is an amazing city. for one day fewer people were jerks. it was almost like everyone in the city was giving each other a big hug. then the next day back to everyone giving each other the finger. i like both equally.

They were the first to post about Kickball. I was referring to Dodgeball. Two very different sports as I point out to (e:chico). One you kick the ball at people's head's and the other you thow the ball at people's head's. Both played by hipsters in knee socks, but at their core very different. Mea Culpa!!

Also I have recently discovered why I only dated older men. Younger ones are flakes. Big time. If you could see me right now I'd be shaking my fist in irritation at the thought of youngins. They are hot, have stellar libidos, but the responsibility is lacking. Ugh.

On a happier note. It's the weekend. Joy. My apartment is clean, and a good majority of my laundry is done. The world is my oyster.

I'm currently obsessed with Justin Timberlake. He is bringing the sexy back and I love it. I had a few free downloads in itunes and got the song. Currently I'm listening to SexyBack (yes one word) for the 5th time today. I did a chair dance each time.

Oh and in case you were also wondering "Let's paint the 90's" worth every cent. It also came with free "Facts of Life" pins featuring: Jo, Nell, Blaire and Ms. Garret. I may be broke this weekend, but at least I have a paint book to entertain me.

This was either incredibly dumb to spend $12.95 plus s/h. Or it was the best purchase I've made in a mighty long time. I'm leaning towards option #2.

Last night after a delightful dinner and drink I decided to take the train downtown and the take the PATH train from there. Very similar to what I had done the night before.

However last night as I approached the WTC PATH train I looked up and felt like the wind had been knocked out of me. The new memorial and pictures had been put up for the September 11th 5 year anniversary. Directly in front of me were pictures of twisted steel beams, mangled subway turnstyles and the faces of those there that day.

I could tell many of the people were just returning to NJ from a night similar to mine. You could hear the silence in a normally busy and loud train station. One girl on the train started to cry as the train pulled out of the station to the part of the track where you go directly ground zero.

Someone said to me yesterday that Oliver Stone's movie was not made for New Yorkers, but rather everyone else who just saw it as a newstory. I can't help but agree with them. Anyone who lives here feels the effect of it everyday. Even after 5 years.

apparently I have been the victim of a well know affliction known as PMS. Well that and I was actually upset about this weeks events.

Also I had a stellar make out/get it on session. That helped a lot too.

Now I'm just tired from lack of sleep.

Ok there's opera in the park this week. A few people wanted to go. So it was my understanding that we were going to go on Wednesday. Well another girl only wanted to go on Tuesday. So after asking me and me telling her I can't do Tuesday she calls everyone and now guess what- everyone is going Tuesday.

I'm really fucking pissed right now. Just her attitude about everything is annoying me. Last week I got her home safe and sound and never a thank you or anything. Just a comment about how the driver didn't know how to get her home. WTF? I was waiting for the PATH train for an hour, not in some swank car getting driven around in AC.

That's it im going back into hermit mode. No friends. Just me, my books, my ipod and walks.

As promised a pictorial update of my life the past few weeks:

I arrive early to work for golf day. I am less than pleased at being up so early.


I'm more pleased now that I'm sitting on a veranda reading.


I am most pleased once I have a beer and put my feet up.


And once I break the seal this is where I pee.


I decide to mix it up for pee #2. This is the other bathroom. I feel like I'm at my rich Grandma's house (if I had one).


Then the girls and I are going out to dinner. Emily looks like she is about to reprimand me.


Cate plays innocent after glass #5 of sangria. I do not encourage that type of behavior.


Joyce's Birthday. She is happy.


Everyone loves a drinking party in Brooklyn.


If manna from heaven could be a drink it would be this. Jameson, ice tea, honey and lemon.


Notice Joyce's birthday starts during the day and now it's dark. This is how long we've been sitting drinking.


Finally we take the party back to Joyce's. But wait Carolyn is around and we need an adventure. So we spy on a charming old wood worker listening to Patsy Cline.


He has no email address so we can not email him our spy pictures.


I need a day of rest. So I chillax on the rooftop.


I decide to walk home.


I come upon some b boys and a b girl at union square.


I also stumble upon my new motto.


All of this activity has give me attack of the hives.
