The first day in Provincetown we walked around a lot and looked at everything on commercial street. We also watched many hours of HGTV.
I've never been in such a touristy place before. Everyone is hawking their restaurant and knick knacks as you walk by. I don't think I'd ever walk down Elmwood if Buffalo were like that.
The architecture is what you'd think a seaside town would be. It's really crowded and the street is always packed. Pedestrians and bikes are everywhere, and cars are always stuck with no place to go. I love it.
At night we went to this restaurant called Patio. (E:Paul) got his huge lobster. The pasta was pretty over priced and blah but it was a seafood restaurant.

The gayest place on earthCategory: gay
Provincetown has to be the gayest place on earth.
After we got in, we had trouble finding our room. For some reason the house number I wrote down on the phone with the owner was way off from what it actuly was. I swear I heard him right and he told me the wrong thing.
So we had a taco dinner with my family at their rental. Afterwards we headed out with my uncles to see the bars on Commercial St. They were insanely packed with the gayest and buffest looking people I've ever seen. The drink prices were also insanely priced. The one bar was like Cathode but with 10x the people and space, but just as cheesy music.
The night was weird but it wasn't long before we headed home.

PTown boundCategory: vacation
We are on the way to Provincetown right now. The long drive is so boring. I absolutely hate driving. We split the driving up pretty evenly but it'll be over three hours each so far this weekend. If it were up to me I would close half the 90 and put all the money into a parallel rail line. I wish there was a way to get there by train.
We're driving through these amazing looking hills and forests but you can't really tell since you move so fast and have to pay attention to a strip of asphalt. It's weird that we are completely atomized and anonymized in the car, driving through generic rest stops, ignoring anything that's not on the highway. But (e:Paul) is chatting with people on grindr about great places to hike nearby where we're driving through.

As seen in a Sodus Bay station. They actually sound good - I wanted to try one of the peanut butter ones but there was no way of telling which was which. I bet (e:Paul) would eat the beef ones. Woof.

Chimney BluffsCategory: vacation
Yesterday we went down with the Ho's to chimney bluffs. the view was amazing but the water was freezing. Suprisingly (e:Paul) and (e:hodown) managed to stay in the water the longest.
Then we came back to the cabin, ate cheesebort, a cookout dinner and pie. We watched the Kardashians for a bit but I had to get away - that show drives me fucking nuts.
