Princess Mafalda

My Nonna used to always talk about Princess Mafalda. There isn't tons of info on her but she always had a special place in my mind. I guess she was kinda the star of the Italian royal family when she was a child and everyone loved her. She was an Italian princess from1902-1944. Her husband was a german royal relative and nazi and she was thought to be a secret anti-nazi fighter. She was arrested by German officials and was eventually killed in a concentration camp. I was kinda surprised that an Italian royal was killed in a concentration camp. Then I looked into it a little more and there was lots of princes and princesses from all over Europe who died in concentration camps. Not tons but more than I would have thought. I don't know why that is surprising but it seems like royalty , they always have a connection and a way out of any situation but I guess not really.

The House of Romanov definitely didn't have a way out.

soap opera locked doors
Category:

whenever someone sneaks into a room on a soap opera and locks the door, you never know if they are gonna kill the other person or have sex with them .

What is in my brain?
So I have started to play super nintendo again lately and it is crazy how much I remember like where every secret thing and box is. Seriously how does our brain keep all this stuff? It is like instinctual that I remember where to jump and waht to hit and what to do for every secret every step of the way. I was never like crazy play super nintendo all the time either. It just really amazes me that my brain maintained all this stuff like 20 years later!

I think there is a lot of stuff that Science still doesn't know... Things like how does muscle memory work.. your muscles can do things at an automatic level with out communicating with your brain (or that was the case when I was in school) ... As an example in the past I've thought of something (a product) I need and forget where it is but my legs took me there ..... I'm guessing that just a theory that your muscles react by what it remembers with the brain for video games ?

Ya I find that too. Like I was playing super mario 1 a little while back and I knew exactly where to go for a hidden 1 up. WTF. I wonder how many more important things we could have been memorizing as children.

SNOW DAY
Snow day from work! AMAZING! I love it! I vow to be productive and not waste the day away though so far I have spent it watching Days of Our lives and morning television though I did finally have Macy's fix my credit card so I can use the website to pay my bill.It was messed up for like a year which is annoying but I have put off contacting them and I did that finally this morning. So really if that is the only thing I get done today I will still rate today PRODUCTIVE!

I wish I had off. I ended up working from home all day.
