(e:Dianne)'s shoulder surgery is Monday and she's gonna be recovering in a recliner in my living room for a bit. she's got Netflix, hulu plus and probably access to Amazon videos. what suggestions for movies do you have? She's never seen Princess Bride!

Don't know about the availability, but I recommend a Simon Pegg/Nick Frost bender. Paul, Spaced (show), Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Run Fatboy Run. He's been in other stuff, but he was also writer of these. I even listed them in order of strength of recommendation. :-)

to kill even *more* time, the question should be "what TV series should she powerwatch?" I use my Netflix & Hulu for TV shows much more than movies.

How has she never seen that.... Tough to suggest cause not sure what types of movies she likes Kill Bill is great but so is ZombieLand oh TheFall was great think (e:tinypliny) has a post on it some place... I don't really watch the romantic comedies so no help there...
