Beach #2: closed between the time we pulled in and the time we changed clothes
Beach #3: beach at Mickey Rats. We thought (e:tinypliny) would enjoy the sign. The water smelled like sewage & fish, so we had a beer and left.
Backyard: sprinkler, better beer. Ahhh...

That seems odd... When I was young that was (ok went only once) that was the best beach... not a single rock and real smooth... But stuff in the water I have no idea.......
heh, you are right! That is right up my rodentine (that's not a word, I just like it) alley.
And hey, the world survives on recycled resources... We just don't realize that our most precious resources are the ones that are recycled. :)
I'm trying to not be paranoid... but I feel like crap :-p I cannot believe I drink that water... I'm extremely grateful for water treatment plants but it's hard to believe they're cleaning enough of that disgustingness.
Beach contamination - mostly caused by sewage overflows and storm runoff. I don't know what non-bacterial tests they perform, if any. Woodlawn Beach is on a nationwide worst offenders list. :::link:::
I'm dine swimming in the New York part of Erie. Why can't they straighten it out.
