Jill, Kelly & I judged the houses lit up for Christmas last night. Here are some shots of the best.

Green Christmas (LED lights)
Most Christmas Spirit
An org that I'm secretary of bought new decorations for Main Street. We've taken 2-3 years to make this decision. I'm glad it's done and the lights are cute. They're smaller than I had hoped but the next option was $1100 each instead of $325ish.

I'm helping jill wrap presents. Santa got Shane a bleeding zombie target. And Liam is getting a remote controlled flying clown fish. Who knew such things existed?? (at the same time, I'm grateful for my non consumerist life)

Is the clown fish this year's replacement for the zhu zhu hamster?

ChairsCategory: work
We got guest chairs! Also from buffalo business interiors. I took a couple shots of the desk that the PartnerTBNL likes. We also got internet connectivity. It took about five hours total - an hour or so on Saturday and then four hours today. That's not including time on the phone with various parts of Verizon. However, I'm thrilled the office is set up and ready to work in.

Office chair & plantsCategory: work
We still need chairs for guests and a coat hook rack.
Our desks have these strange cord keepers with brushes. They meet in the center and then also have little brushes along the window side of the desks. A very strange innovation.

And an extension cord. ;o)
Looking great. I like that innovation as well....curious how it works out.

that is seriously one awesome innovation! The #1 reason why cords need replacement in an office environment is the constant bending against desk edges. They get stretched out too much where they smash against the desk. What a neat idea to have brushes absorb the impact. these are "smart desks"!

It's a dwarfish Santa. It has a head (the gap above the beard).
Very pretty! Thanks for sharing. I never get around to actually seeing these lights either because I am super busy or because its insanely cold or most of the times, both.
Btw, what's in the middle of that nail and salon display? it's gorgeous looking but is that a headless person wearing a gown in the middle floating the clouds? !
