Jill & Shane let me have this awesome globe lamp. We've been cleaning out and organizing the office and lots of random things are being tossed or given away. I also scored a four-drawer vertical fling cabinet.

Nisha & Blu, a bluetick coonhound, hanging out. (A's dog Whitey is a treeing Walker coonhound.)

I took a cruise on the Miss Buffalo Sunday. I hadn't seen the West Ferry drawbridge up before.

Wow I saw those two Jo Jo Marie and Cat Sinclair/McCarthy on facebook hope you enjoyed the Miss Buffalo I haven't been on it since I think I was a kid?

That globe light looks pretty cool....Since you have the skills do to so you should turn out all the lights and take pictures of it! Does it spin? In other words are the same places all ways lit on the map?

Nineteen Buffalo Queer Women went to Spicy Thai last night. I had an excellent basil eggplant, Thai spicy. Nice place and they were very gracious about having 75 percent of their seating taken up. I didn't get the impression that Thursday nights are hoppin'.

Nisha is visiting and loves all the attention at Taza. Fausto & Paula let her sit on their laps.

My truck broke down on Edward between Franklin & Delaware on Wednesday. The Midas on Niagara Street came and towed me and then the mechanics huddled around like it was the coolest new mystery. Ignition coil failed.

Think I tried Thai Food once but it was some noodle thing with oil that was pretty good.... Wasn't really brave enough to try anything else really was.... In other words good choice of place to eat you ladies are brave...

Tioga river sluice wash out

A took this picture yesterday of a spot on near the headwaters of the Tioga by County Bridge.

Approximately where the lat-long marker is:

It's DCNR land so it's unlikely that the sluice will be replaced. The other end of the path also has sluices washed out. We get back there with A's 4wd F150 but it's rough.

I have a neat video of a road and its sluice pipe being washed way in Broome County, NY, but it looks like it's in icky FB format and I can't share outside. My favorite amusement park, Knoebel's Grove in Elysburg, PA, has been hit pretty hard but they've always bounced back from flooding. You can see their pix here

Carcassonne with the piggies & hydrants expansion; Ecoey; the wine that Uncle Dudley keeps in her fridge is not nearly the quality of wine I've been drinking lately, including some excellent homemade zinfandel and muscata (maybe).

I got a protest email from Uncle Dudley this morning about me making fun of her boxowine. Now she wants me to bring home some lovely vintages slung on a donkey, and I'm not allowed to use her donkey (e:heidi,48848).

I was really impressed with the quality of the pics - great color and lighting. The pix popped out of the printer really quickly. Having it at an (e:strip) party would be a blast! This company had some hats, boas, sunglasses & stuff available but hmm... (e:peeps) don't need that ;-)
