Give up on war
Category: war
Seriously another $37 billion for war?

What are we fighting for anymore? The war already stole all our money. It took all the tax money pillaged from the middle class and placed in in the hands of the huge companies that profit on these stupid wars. It almost seems like they are trying to start another one in Korea. Didn't we learn the first time.

I am starting to feel that every dollar we waste on these stupid wars is like another dollar the terrorists stole from us. And by terrorists I don't just mean the kind that fly into building on airplanes. I also mean the big military industrial complex company scum bags and their friends that rape us.

The Industrail War Complex is very Real. Not to get into loney Ness but Kenedy was really going to get us out of Nam and so they had him killed. The thing that is great is how they create enemies. Take Iraq. We Put Saddam into power, he was our buddy , he ruled with an iron fist, and was brutal but there wasn't all this one sum sect killing some other sub sect of the same belief system. Well then he decided to go inot Kuwat (where we get our oil and our buddies), Then he became the Bad Guy (Clinton). Somehow When 911 happened this same country was behind it. But that is like saying the terrorists who live in England and blew up a train are supported by england so we should go to war with them. I voted for Barrack cause he was supposed to get us out of this mess. Yes WWII at the time was good for us Economicly but it isn't the 50"s and the world has greatly changed. Oh and one other note one reason we (USA) are hated all over the world is because we often stick our noses in where we aren't wanted. Sometimes this means we support a evil dictator and some times it means we cause an uprising of people who where fine the way they where Argh.......

Yay Obama! This sure is "change"!
tinypliny - 07/27/10 22:38
I don't get this. What on earth is to be gained by warring against hostile desert psychos in Afghanistan? Really? 37 BILLION?! When so many better things can be done with that kind of money, the only thing they could think of is pouring it into the ridiculously expensive drain of war equipment?

Every government is the same - greedy scum shamelessly feeding other secret scum that make money off of wars and misery of other people. The Indian govt pours billions and billions of rupees into stockpiling against the 50 odd war mongering idiots in Pakistan ruling over people who are all technically Indian - fighting over the borders of a stupid state that was ALL part of India - given away by a man who was so lost in the theoretical principles of "non-violence" that he didn't have the foresight to see the havoc that would be wrecked by his inability to say a simple no and take a firm stance on the issue that lead to the partition.

Yes. They are all the same. Maybe they all come from the same scummy politician planet and their primary religion there is unbridled greed.

There is actually someone you can call for that. Urban Valet.

Hehehe - I saw this van too and thought, when would I want to rescue smoky mouldy clothes, exactly - when I wear a silk evening gown and diamond slippers to a camp fire underground?

Panos shrimp, scallop and sweet potato with gnocchi
This was maybe the best lunch I have ever eaten.

gnocchi is against your food rules, (e:tinypliny). you would be wracked with guilt.
tinypliny - 07/27/10 17:21
I have never had gnocchi though I keep meaning to...
