Y'all know that QWERTY is a way to slow down typists so they don't jam typewriters, and DVORAK is an optimized keyboard layout that makes you type, like, 1000 times faster if you just take the time to learn it, which no one does, because we type on like 20 keyboards a day, half of which are on machines we don't own, so we can't change them to DVORAK, so we would become insanely schizophrenic having to switch mental modes over and over, and I think this is symptomatic of every problem that plagues humankind to this day.

wow... I never thought it was such a big problem. I can type pretty damn fast on QWERTY keyboards... hmm...
Haha, I was exaggerating a little about the 20 keyboards, it's probably more like 4 or so...but I think typing is the most common form of communication today and it's kinda crazy that at the root of it is a crippled layout.
Sorry about that. I was using the wrong keyboard. Nice avatar.

What is more wrong: that you have to type on twenty different keyboards a day, or that you have ten keyboards of your own?

Never heard of the DVORAK keyboard. Love his compositions though.
