oh yah, about the cocaine...i had my hand mirror in my backpack, and i had been crying so i was sniffing..when it went through the x-ray...i was searched and swiped for drugs, hahaha. then i was searched sequentially at each layover.

thanks carey!!! you don't know how much i appreciated you showing up that morning. i was a wreck and you really helped me out! the compressions socks were a life saver. i'll write more about that. i have pics of the voodoo doll on journey too. i'll post them soon. i have to figure out how to load my photo stuff and camera on here, and then wait for the damn cord which is in the missing bag :)

HP 3D

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was a delight. I am glad to have seen it at the regal IMAX. 3D portion was fun.

It made me think that that whole scene could be made into an amusement attraction in the likes of Spiderman/Mummy found at Universal.

I never bought popcorn before at a movie theater. Somehow it just sounded good, and seeing as I was paying 12$ to see the movie, a few more bucks to round out the event wasnt going to hurt. Did you know that there are no prices on the "deals" board? A medium pop and medium popcorn cost 12$ I think. gah

They were both monstrous in size. Ridiculous, really, unless sharing. I didn't even see small as an option. Anyway, I ate a handful of popcorn and offered off the rest-- I made sure to eat all the butter coated pieces first. I don't actually *like* popcorn. It just sounded good.

I also realized that I hadn't been inside an IMAX auditorium before. Not that I recall, anyways. I really don't get out much to the movies.

Anyway, I enjoyed the movie--Good music, visuals, feel. And Snape. Oh yes, theres just something about Snape.

Go see it if you havent already! :)

yep, market arcade popcorn is so tasty i actually polished off a giant bag with terry and matthew once...i'm usually only good for 2 cups worth. the ghetto 4 seasons cheap seats has really good popcorn too.

I admit that I have never made it to an IMAX movie. I was at an IMAX Theatre as I was exploring a building in Toronto but I couldn't figure out how you got to the movie plus it was to late to see one anyways. One of these days I may make it to one, but the only one I know of seems so far out there in the burbs somewhere. Glad you had fun. Maybe the popcorn has to be huge because since the screen is bigger the Popcorn has to be in proportion to the screen :) , HA. Not sure if the regal still does it or not But it used to be if you bought there huge tub of popcorn you got a refill. I did that once I got one and not sure how I finished it. Saw a second movie I liked went to see that and got a refill but not sure if they still do that or not. In any event glad you had a good time.

i agree, market arcade has THE BEST popcorn i've ever had. i've actually stopped in there just to buy popcorn to take home.

we've seen harry potter already, but we're going to go to IMAX as well. how long is the 3D portion? i thought it was the whole movie?

and yes, snape....ahh.

oops...glad that was good. Ratatouille? not so much, but the Market Arcade makes the popcorn so worth it.

Weekend 'plans' so far:

Stop at local farm for berries, cherries and corn!

Swing.. on a swingset, go down a slide, wander about..

Swim Swim Swim and Swim some more!

Go see new Harry Potter on Sunday at IMAX theater!

The above are definite, although plenty of room for more relaxed simple summer fun...
