faux curtain up...
My friend Lisa and I went to see DeLovely tonight. A biography of Cole Porter's life as an american composer.I like musicals and plays; so being that I did not attend Curtain Up 2004 this year around, I will count my $7.50 ticket purchased to see this movie at the North Park Theatre as a suitable fill-in. I am one all for nostalgia and such, but wow are those seats uncomfortable after 2 hours. 8* We also went to North Park Trattoria to have cocktails before hand. Very nice atmosphere and the aroma from the open kitchen was wonderful! I can't wait to return again for dinner - yum! :)

Overall a nice evening that definitely helped erased the craziness from the night before. Someone invited me to go out with them and their friends who I did not know. Granted not knowing someone has never really stopped me from talking to anyone, I can pretty much hold my own, but sometimes there is a threshold for whats right and not so right. So anyway, after barhopping two lame places, the inviter who I know broke out on me and left me w/three strangers (guys) on the street corner which was as akward as crap since all these dudes wanted to do was chase blonde tail all night. I am never one to block a guys mission for tail or stay where I am unwelcomed, so afterwhile I too broke out of another lame place and walked home from chippewa furious as all getout :( . "All she wanted was to have fun...not looking to chase anyone, just good old fashion dancin' fun!!!" Gotta listen to instinct more often, it told me to stay home and craft like a good girl should. друзьÑ? мальчиков плохие хорошие. (granted neither of those may apply in all circumstances)
oh well, all's well that ends well? is it really true...

sorry (e:mike) if I seemed loud and crude in any way. thats the way the red rolls.
and ps, you don't realize your strength but I did fall but so not on purpose.

Hey, (e:stickboy), tell your friend mike that I checked out motorhead. not my cup of tea. I will stick w/Dave, although I am open to lots else, just other than metal. But I promised I'd check it out and I did. Good seeing you though. Hope you take my advice so we see more of you and your talent.

Off the wall had good tunes, wish more people were there but nonetheless, its was still cool, 'cause wherever the (e:peeps) are the cool people follow...

sorry you missed us all (e:sqb) [inlink]sqb,124[/inlink].
