On the wayWe all met at the 567 to meet up before the wedding. The crew in our car included (e:holly) , (e:matthew) , (e:terry) and I.
In this photo of Richmond, I captured a glimpse of the church that was converted into an apartment building. In some way it's really progressive but I still don't think I could live there. Anyone know someone that lives there? I wonder what it is like inside.
So in the car (e:holly) and (e:matthew) were talking about how they had heard on the news that some crazed woman smashed her two year old to death against the sidewalk. They said it only happend a couple blocks away. I am apartently, so sheltered from "the news" that I hadn't even heard about it. I think I am going to make a journal that self records the latest local, non-political news. There is always the rss but no real historical documentation and the buffalo news charges for back issues/articles

Programming and weddingsFirst of all, happy wedding day to (e:trisha) .
I spent the night trying to get the site back up, going crazy because the host changed something about the way $_SERVER['PATH_TRANSLATED'] was represented. I moved the whole site to elmwoodstrip.org as a backup and plan on moving it there permanently sometime in Mid October when they update pspell and imap. It took me till 4am to get it finished. but it's nice to know that if anything happens there is at least one other non-local copy ready to go.

Sourceforge and WebservWell I switched the host to a PHP 5 server but the site still remains on the old one for now. I will begin developing it at elmwoodstrip.org and then make the official switch and some point next month. I was looking to run a test server on my laptop and I am so sick of upgrading apache and perl, and php, and mysql. I found this great package by a group at Sourceforge
that has it all. The package is called webserv and offer you AWSTATS, perl, php 5.0.2 , mysql 4, and phpmyadmin, and apache 2 all in one easy windows XP installer. It is the perfect accessory for any web developer using the XP platform.
