Provincetown Elmwood
Apparently, there is another elmwood neighborhood in Provincetown. So apparently, I could move away and still spend my whole life living on elmwood.

When I first viewed their gallery I didn't realize where it was and I couldn't recoggnize the buildings. They seem to fit into our own local architechture so well, but I just couldn't recognize the locations. It actually made me think that maybe I had missed part of elmwood. Here is an example pic.

We should have an inter-elmwood themed online event. Maybe they need a site :)

What's even weirder is that if you type elmwood and provincetown into google (GOOGLE - elmwood provincetown) we show up on the first page of returns because of (e:emilyjane) 's trip to P-town.

Blending Food Database
Check this local treasure out . It is a database of food information in Western NY and Niagara Regional Area.

I had never heard of it before until I was doing some routine searches on elmwood today. Below is the latest entry is from Sept 6 -2004 and is talking about one of our local elmwood attractions.

We had to check out the Carriage Trade Pastries that is located at 1654 Elmwood Ave. between Great Arrow and Amherst. (Across from the Fire Hall) 716-881-2326. We went home with some Bumbleberry tarts that were excellent! Everything else looked really great! We will definitely be returning. They also offer a lunch menu and have a few tables to eat right there. They have desserts, breads and wedding cakes. The are open Tues. to Fri. from 8 AM - 5 PM and on Sat. from 9 AM to 5 PM.

These would make the cutest bike bells
These would make the cutest bike bells. They would of course make some sort of crazy bird chirp rather than your avaergae bell bing.

Form 6700
I am slowly stumbling through the endless web of forms that catch on my reality, like jagged toenails on a wool comforter.

Beaches on Lake Erie
You don't have to crross the border to find free beaches on Lake Erie. Today (e:mike) , (e:terry) , (e:matthew) [inlink]matthew,366[/inlink] and I visited Bennett Beach

We originally intended on going to Wendt Beach but overshot it a bit in our driving adventure through Hamburg. It was just as well, as I wanted to get as far from the city and Bethlehem Steel as possible. (e:matthew) has taken a bunch of nice hires pics at the beach.
