Lexington Coop
We went to the coop today again, there were pictures of the new coop. I am sure it's construction will bring many other large storefronts like walgreens to elmwood in the near future. I mean how can we justify the demolition and construction for one company and not for others. I imagine the traffic is really gonna suck too.

What about the fact that the coop had the ability to change another neighborhood for the better.
Why did they not move down where the family dollar is opening, one block up from Allen. It's a big but not too big store, and it had a parking lot and no traffic problem.

What do you'll think? How many of you are members of the coop?

I am Sorry Churhcofjulie
Sorry (e:churchofjulie) if I offended you, I owe you dinner, if you can forgive me for jumping to conclusions. I feel like I should publically say this athough i will email you. I misunderstood the intentions of your previous "last post" and was terrified by the idea that the gov't was intimidating people on our site shut up or pull out support for something they believe in.

Like I said I have no problem with you quiting your journal, time passes - people change, I seriously understand not wanting to keep a journal. I just thought you were being intimidated to quit and spoke out before I knew everything - that's my biggest downfall everytime.

Argh, now I am really worried about my soul. I mean, you are by all intensive purposely, the my higher religious authority! Please don't make it rain all summer or something like that, hahah.

Keith and Comedicqueen
I figured it out. I think you are copying and pasting your entries from Microsoft Word. If that is the case I fixed it. Go ahead and try pasting something with apostrophes or quotes again. I won't be able to fix the old ones though. You would need to fix them yourselves.

Exactly what I am saying Ajay
[inlink]ajay,43[/inlink] This has all been catalogued and extracted.

It is really perplexing for people to claim they never thought people would read things that they are posting on the web, when is the most ubiquitous medium possible. It's more likely someone reads what you wrote here, than if you had it flown over attached as a banner on a bi-plane.

Liz and Google and Advertising
(e:liz),
In response to [inlink]liz,47[/inlink] which is in response to [inlink]paul,1202[/inlink] and [inlink]churchofjulie,38[/inlink].

The whole google search issue resulted from the February feedback [inlink]news,172[/inlink]. I did not originaly want the individual journals to be seached by google, because it took away from my whole anti-globalization campaign but when the time came for February Feedback, it was suggested (here's one [inlink]ajay,10[/inlink] that we change the selecting method from POST to GET so that bots can search through the content.

I changed it and in a way it's kind of neat, I mean it definitely spreads our messages yet in another way, why should google, yahoo, MSN, etc profit from our writing. That's what makes me crazy about google. Why should they be able to make mad money off of people like us? I mean they sell advertisements only because their bots suck pages.

Why is the whole search engine thing even legal. I mean isn't it full of copyright issues. If I made a zine with pics of different disney characters and sold advertisements space for it, I would most like be sued. Yet they can put up other people's copyrighted info and tack advertisements all around it with no problem. Search for Disney on google . What's up with that? What do you guys think?
