bill and i are drunk again
Ok so we drunk and writing again. It's a good thing. We are totally going to the happening this sat. in Niagara falls. Local music all getting together for the purpose of exposing local music. It'll be a good time. We are going to x-pose npp to the buffalo community. I can't wait. We don't have a demo, but we've got the spirit to carry us through. That is what it takes. Spirit. I am so happy, I can't wait to play our first show. We've grown as musicians and people, and that what makes thing good

Yeah, i'm fuckin drunk, so what, want to make somethin of it? Anyway, we had a good time tonight. Talkin more about the band then the naked girls dancing on the stage. Dan rambled on most of the night. Apparently Jesus didn't understand politics (inside joke). Billy met with disappointment but alas I have NPP. Nick moves in this weekend and the downstairs bathroom isn't done yet. Whoa is me. Dan is still laughing. Too many cigarettes and not enough chics. I have a feeling things are gonna work out great. Just a feeling we all seem to have.

Halloween Halloween
Well the North Park halloween party was a success. I have a feeling pictures from this one will be all over the place. I know bill had taken a couple, i think...but I know there was a plethora of pics, that I'm sure you'll see soon.

Big score was Dry Ice courtesy of mills welding on great arrow drive. 92 cents a pound, and bill scored that just before noon. It looked way cool in the jungle juice mix. I can't even think of how cool the night went by. No problems, lots of drinking it was a way cool party.

NPP scored a double set. An early 3 song jam. That was cool, but lacked the people. The second was an extended jam at 11p I think we played 6 tunes

Hills of tomorrow
Sunshine
Taking it back
OM/VR(UltraVectionOven)
Bitter End
Mike Shea's

We rocked the casbah, people cheered. I heard mad people talking about how much they liked us. It was exactly what I needed. I wish I could've talked to more people after we played so I could've gotten a better idea of what songs they liked the most, but I was busy giving directions and other things. All of my friends showed up late as usual, after midnight. So they missed the set. Oh well. What else is there to say....

..oh yeah I'm still up party kicked off at 7p, and I'm still standing at 7a...well sitting at work. I can't wait to get to my bed, and relax and take it all in from last night. Hopefully I can see if we can get some party pics up with the quickness.

Deep entry
Very deep entry Dan...Good points.
I think that we should continue to record our jam sessions until everyone is content with a song or two and then we should post them on the site.
We definately have to play out though; thats a given...That is the only way that people are going to find out about us and I have a feeling that after we play a couple of local shows the venues will be asking us to come back cuz our sound is so original and catchy.
The only way that were gonna find out is if we try though.
I'll see everybody tonight.
Peace,
-Nick

Later on
...of course I have things to write about on my 13 hour shift. None of which will intrest anyone. Not sleeping then working, then writing is always a bad idea. Where as not sleeping then working and coming up with basslines is always a good idea. I think North Park is a camera crew away from it's own reality show. I mean do you realize we'll have our entire band in our house by the 15th of November. It's pretty insane considering we don't have the heat turned on and we don't have a bathroom.

No one has given me the go ahead to put up actual music yet, Bill nixed me just putting it up and says it depends on how jay feels. Well jay hasn't "approved" any of the recordings and since none of us have money for a demo I guess you won't get to hear us unless we play out. That's doubtful that will happen anytime soon, every time I bring up the subject, all I get is excuses. It's all very frustrating to me. I thought everyone knew how I felt on this subject.

You got to earn respect in this town, and only half of us have. Bill having been in a popular hardcore band and Nick being in his rock punk band. I was in a band that played out but we got no respect, we rarely played out, and when we did we got shitty shows because no one knew who we were. The most I got paid for a show was $6, and that was gas money for the two practices I went to. There isn't gonna be a crowd of people to see our first show, so why not just do it. So much of our lives are wasted sitting on our laurels. We react instead of act. It's what separates those who succeed and those who fail.

What is the fun in life if you never do anything?
