Thought I'd give you a quickie. We practiced thrusday, it seems so long ago. Well the first part of practice sucked. So we got a couple drinks and bill prepared his computer for recording the second half of practice. Then we went to our favorite place for entertainment...colonie lounge...it was a good time.
So when we god back we were in good spirits, and drunk. I started up the computer and we recorded. Now it doesn't sound like a cd, nothing is mixed, it's basically like we put out a tape recorder and recorded. Only it's digital so I can manipulate it a little bit. I might boost the highs and lows and take the mids out a little. I dunno we'll see. I normalized it that night, and it sounded alright for what we did.
You'll probably have to wait for us to put a real demo together, but hopefully we will be gig'ing out soon so you can check us out in full stage effect.

Jay is a great singer and guitarist.
Dan is a fantastic bass player with great ideas.
Nick is an amazing drummer.

Bill & Dan are DrunkSpell check is awesome, anyways, bill wanted me to use the ambersign...or something...it's this symbol &. Anyways...we're are drunk. Saw the yankee's get killed and we were out and decided to hear some new tunes. Well bill's new riff is something out of the ordinary. I like it a lot. I can't wait to make it a full song. I mean it's like watching a child grow, you get to see it at it's first stage and then it becomes an adult, a fully functioning song. In fact we are working on stuff as we write in this journal. Which is the best in artistic drunkness, to multitask. I write while bill "writes". Hopefully you will get to see some semi-finished product soon. I heard Broadway Joe's is asking for bands, we might do it up. So hopefully you will get to see us soon.
Dude, I'm so glad I didn't go to the strip club. Dan and I totally had a blast writing. I've been nursing this riff for like 3 months until it sounded good. Then Dan listened to it and gave me some input. It's great to have a fresh pair of ears to put something into perspective. It also helps to have someone else write with you so it doesn't sound the same as everything else you write. As I type this, Dan is jamming out a great riff but he probably doesn't like it because it's too somber. I like it because it strikes feeling in me. I can't wait to play out. It's lookin like broadway joe's is the place to start it out at. Right down the street. Hopefully Jay is into the idea.

to the COLONIE!!! I'm working til 9pm on Thursday, but hopefully I can take off a little early. Jay and I didn't write anything, I was braindead. Hopefully, we'll have some music to upload too.
Then off to relieve ourselves of some dollar bills.
The basement needs work and I just dropped a bunch of change on the downstairs bathroom.

Things are really coming together now. We have a lot to discuss coming up.
Whether or Not to do a demo?
Should we write new songs so we can play longer live?
When to start playing live?
Where to play live?
What needs to be done to the van to get it movin?
Talk to everyone about that thing that we need to talk about?
We also need to finish up things.
Lyrics to like 4 or 5 songs
Gotta put a bridge in one of the songs
Finish up another one
See if we can jam in the one song and do extened band intro's live
Gotta fix up the basement
It's all good, bill and jay are working on some stuff tonight. They felt inspired. I'm at work right now. So much to do. I guees we'll work on everything thursday night. Is there anything I missed??
