I can honestly say that Saturday was one of the best practices that we have had yet. Dan was a little roughed up because I got him sick (not covering my mouth when I cough...Nasty) so he was'nt really enjoying himself! But he livened up pretty quick when we got to the strip club!! It was there that we discussed our music. Everything from video ideas to good covers were touched on. On top of that we met some beautiful new friends (Those tatoos are so fine!!) and enjoyed a few drinks! I think it might have to become tradition. Hopefully Tuesday we can get together and keep working on the new tunes. They are coming together so fast as usual! I Look forward to playing them for an audience, a tough thing for me to imagine but I think that we are ready to start getting listener feedback. WE'll keep you posted on show dates , and Nick if you read this get a hold of me and let me know about Tuesday.
Later E-Peeps
Yeah I was hella sick, plus not sleeping and that shot on jagermeister didn't help me. I swear those strippers have magical powers because I did feel better, but I think it had more to do with the Bass ale and the girls dancing to pantera, suicidal tendencies, and slipknot.

Fun Times @ 72Another fun and exciting practice took place Saturday night!
We went over the setlist again and worked on 2 new songs that are coming out amazing...
So we will have 10 songs to play out live for people when we get a show booked.
Dan, Jay, and I went out for a few beverages after practice and saw some lovely ladies swing around on some pole.
We are definately making immaculate progress with every practice and I can't wait to see how things will be in the future.

Oh yeah fucking practice was awesome last night. Ripped up the set list, and played a couple tunes for our friend's little brother and his girl, also our friend Al came down and really dug what we were doing.
I'm looking forward to sleeping for an hour before practice today (saturday).
Hopefully billy will pick up his camera so we can get pics of the van up online.

It's a big fuckin van! Billy crawls in:
So I get back from the gym and there are 2 messages on my phone. The first one is Jay "Hey Billy, give me a call when you get this message"
Second one is Jay again:
"Yo, where the f*** are you? Call me back!"
Turns out Jay got himself a free cargo van from work. Good thing I took Friday off, so I could spend the whole day having it towed back to the house. I've never driven so slowly in my life (cuz the tow truck was following me). The driver did a great job backing it into the "parking spot". I tipped him $10 and then headed to Ellicottville for the weekend.
Billy is in pain come Sunday.
Billy is still in pain on Monday.
The phone rings while I'm eating lunch. It's Jay, so I put on speaker phone (cuz i can, and it's fun to do to people). "Billy, what are you doing tonight?"
I say "nothing planned, it's monday. I always leave Mondays opened for practice.
Jay: "Good, cuz we're practicing and drinking."
Billy: "Oh dear god... Have you talked to nick? Is he playing?
Jay: "I'll call him. okay, bye."
Billy "Bye"
I'm gonna try and stay positive, but I'm exhausted. I promise no drama tonight. If i start feeling like shit, I'm gonna say i need a break. It's not you, it's me.
Billy starts to crawl out, takes a quick nap and crawls the rest of the way.

Cargo van and my history-dan stumbles in-
Damn that cargo van rocks. Fucking-a it's a beautiful sight. That's all I have to say about the cargo van.
I'd like to talk a little about my history. I started playing music at a very young age. I'm not sure why I was pushed into it. I know that when my parents bought their first house the guy who owned it had this player piano that he didn't want, so he threw it in with the house. My mother had piano lessons when she was younger but I don't remember her pushing me into playing music. I know that my great uncle played sax in a polka band, and even though I had never heard him play I guess just the thought that someone in my family had played the sax made me want to pick it up. So I did in the third grade. My family was pretty poor so we rented many a shitty sax during my tenure as a sax player. Alto at first but tenor as I grew a little bigger. Damn that thing was heavy to carry to school. I quit playing sax after my freshman year, I guess it just wasn't cool to play the sax at that time so I picked up the guitar. Of course Nirvana had just hit the scene and I was all into that. After only playing guitar for like 2 months I found a friend of mine that played drums and we formed a semi band. It was good times I always loved music and playing guitar let me express a lot of the feelings that I had growing up. I also learned how to play that piano in the meantime. I found out also that my great-grandfather played the fiddle (3/4 violin). So I had kind of a musical backround.
My second year of college I ended up hooking up with this band spice rack. They played pop punk and I played with them at a couple shows, even cut a demo with them. It wasn't meant to be, they just couldn't keep up with me on guitar. So I put it away for a very long time. Pulling it out on rare occasions like to teach girlfriends some chords or to show off for them. To tell you the truth I thought I was done...which I guess I was in effect.
It was only jay and bill that got me excited in music again. I had never played bass and it didn't seen that hard to me. Although I had always strayed away from it. See I'm six foot tall and thin, typical bass player material. I tried to stay away from it, but it found me and I love it now. Bass seems to compliment how I play which seems to compliment the band which is why I play with them.
It's the most expressive music I've ever been able to create and I truly love this band.
