Granted none of the pictures are pictures of the bills. But I thought I would put up a few pictures that I don't think I have posted before. Some of them are a few years old. My thoart is a bit sore i think from yelling at the bills game. I can't belive that McGee had like four blickers and didn't get a touchdown on that long return the beginging of it was amazing. My 49ers lost but the Raiders won. Desperate housewives is getting interesting. Tonight Raw debuts on USA so that should be fun I will check in on the monday night game every so often and see what is going on. What is so frustrating about the Bills is I can see they have the Talent but just arn't playing well. The O line isn't pass protecting that well. Losman is over excited and over throwing guys. I hope they can pull it togather. I think JP is the future of the Bills but he still has a lot to learn and needs to be given the time to learn it.

Movies and My Walk Category: photos
Ok first things first I do like the new layout to elmwoodstrip. My Internet explorer on the other hand dosn't. I know I should download fire fox. But when I go to the show all page for the journals that page no matter what I do won't get arrow keys so there is no good way to see the entire journal entry so it is a little annoying but oh well.
On saturday I went downtown to buy a ticket to see George Carlin. I think it will be a great show, I sure hope so. I saw an add for a play I want to see at studio arena (I'm not really a play guy). It is based on the movie "A Christmas Story". I don't know how the play could be as good as that movie but I would still like to see it anyways.
As you can tell I'm uplaoding or posting a bunch of pictures. I took them before I went to the regal to see Serenity. I thought it was a great movie. If you liked "Firefly" or Sci-fi movies you will love this movie. I like that there where sad parts and funny parts in it that makes for a much better story. There was action and good effects also. I give it 3 out of 4 stars and two thumbs up. If that is your type of movie I'm sure you will like it. You might like it even if you are not into sci-fi or western style movies. I also watched the 40 year old virgin on DVD a buddy had the bootleg version. Some of it was funny I enjoyed it. The quality took some away from it so to review it wouldn't be fair. I know this post is a little jumbeled is that even a word. I hope the picture quality is ok when you shirnk pictures you don't know how they will come out. I think the pictures are an ok representation of what I like about Buffalo. You have these cool new looking building like the medical campus then you have old classic building like the church pictured. Then there are great houses like Roxy's wich is now a bar (lesbian friedly, gay bar, girl bar not really sure I got to revist there website for more info.) Then you have places being fixed up and converted into new places. I think getting a good mix off all those things is what makes and will make Buffalo a verry interesting place. I think I have covered everything I needed to.
ladycroft - 10/02/05 12:46 That "A Christmas Story" play sounds like it could be interesting.
metalpeter - 10/02/05 12:06 I think the list its self works ok. When I click on a name it opens up a window. But instead of the windown having up and down arrows and side to side arrows it just has a border. I used to get this on some web sites and the only way to move around the page was using tab, I didn't think to try that. The mouse i have is a scrolling one but it dosn't work on some web pages it dosn't.
paul - 10/02/05 11:27 Peter, is it just the show all list that isn;t working. I can fix it.

seether
Today I walked down elmwood and bought my tickets for Oct. 10th seether concert. I think it will be a lot of fun. I took a few pictures of some nice cars like a BMW and Benz and Corvette convertables. Then watched some stuff I taped. I really like Miami Ink it is a great show. Plus Miami looks really cool when they show shots of it. Maybe I'll visit there sometime again to check it out as opposed to just for a cruise.

Dagger Category: event
I forgot to mention this concert. I admit I'm not going myself since it is at the Amherst campus. I don't know why I like The Juliet Dagger but I do they are a lot of fun. Not sure who the other performers are. I don't think I've ever been to the center for the arts at UB. Maybe I'll go there someday.
jason - 09/27/05 21:50 What, you've never been to CFA? Really? You gotta make it out there sometime - there are plenty of interesting things going on all the time.

Laguna editing Category: tv
I was watching my tape of Laguna Beach today and started to think about something. You only see the kids on that show. First of all they can all drive and all have cars. Not only that but they go on trips and all sorts of stuff. That got me thinking that it most be wierd when they edit the show to never show parents or any adults other then ones who work places where the kids go. It sord of makes the kids seem a lot older then they are. When I say kids I don't mean kids I mean that they are sons and daughters they are all basicly in there last year of high school. I know there have been some parents shown but not much really. Even though I was never a film student I think seeing how they edit reality shows might be interesting. But of course that footage would have to be edited also but it still might be neat to see.
That "A Christmas Story" play sounds like it could be interesting.
