lesson learned
I always seem to learn things the hard way. I mess up some how and realize at that moment, "Don't do that ever again!!!"

A prime example of that occurred the other day: I was over hanging out at my friend's apartment, we ordered Chinese, ate it all and were full!!!!!! Full beyond full!!!!!! Chinese food has a tendency to do that, don't you think?

Ahhh, so as we were sitting there, completely full, I rolled over onto the floor and said, "oh, I need to lay down a minute after I..." now I don't wanna say it. It was bad enough saying it then.

But the lesson learned was: although it's ok to say, "oh, I tired myself out" (from such activities as running up and down big hills, random example, but you get the point)

It's NOT ok to substitute "tired" for "ate" after you consume an enormous amount of food.

In case you didn't read all the way through and got a little confused, I'll sum up the lesson for you:

It's sounds very very bad to say, "Oh, I need to lay down a minute after I (past tense of eat) myself out"

well that's not even much better, but i don't want to say it again :(

lets see how long it takes for ppl to forget that one...

COLD STONE!!!
last night after a long Saturday of meetings and practice and stuff, I met up w/ a bunch of ppl and we headed out to "Cold Stone Creamery" about a mile the highway and indulged ourselves in some ICE FANTASIES!!!

Cold Stone is AMAZING!!! you can mix any of their homemade ice cream flavors with as many toppings as you like, and they have tons to offer. the first time is always overwhelming... hehehehe, ask (e:amanda) . i took her to Cold Stones when she was down here, explained to her the whole process of ordering, but when the time came, she froze... it really is overwhelming.

but now you guys don't need to drive over 150 miles to visit a Cold Stone Creamery because ONE IS OPENING UP RIGHT IN BUFFALO!!!! (well actually Amherst, but close enough) here is a link from the Buffalo News, my mom called me this morning to tell me all about it!!! I'm soo excited for you guys!!!

the only down sides to Cold Stone are the fact that here and apparently a lot of them, the lines are always really long, way out the door (but that just offers you more time to think about what you might want to order), and the fact that every time you tip them, all the workers start to belt out some Disney song or something but they just change the words around to ice cream and Cold Stone (but again, some people really like that, i guess that's why they always tip...)

but when it does open, be sure to GO!!! and if you feel you might get a bit overwhelmed by all the choices, then ask (e:amanda) to take you... by now she can show you how its done ;)

and (e:amanda), can you guess what i ordered??? ;)

I know I'm such a dork, but I'm really excited, not that i think I'm gonna get this job or even that i really want it, it's construction management, but the fact that i actually have an interview is just sooo exciting to me right now!!!

ok, enough of that excitement, i need to get back to work... (stupid school work, of course ;) )

eeek, there has been lots of yelling around here about near naked lady covered in food, but check this out
people are selling their bodies as advertising space, how strange...

i guess you can advertise anywhere, head, shoulders, knees and toes, and everything inbetween as well...

just what would you be advertising for??? and who would do this???

maybe you'll see a pic of my leg with a big "oscar mayer bologna" advertisement ;)
