... I am still recovering from the ariel maneovers that were um.. performed on me during the bachelorette party but I managed to survive with everything intact. I am very glad that some aspects of the evening have no remaining pictures but those burned into my mind. (for future knocked up brides to be -- it is very weird having a full throttle bachelorette party without the numbing effects of alcohol) Women in southern California rallied, corsets and wigs were donned, men were whipped and made to wear bras, and many innocent non-suspecting bar crawling dudes were lured into treacherous games only creatable in the dirty minds of my lovely Californian girlfriends! Unable to consume mind altering substances I reveled in getting them drunk and out of their minds instead. Fun was had by all and I'm sure our craziness rivaled the bachelor party festivities going on in neighboring lands.

ben foldsOK my computer ate my blog- guess that one wasn't meant to be. Long story short I am psyched to go see Ben Folds tomorrow at the Wiltern, which if you havn't been to LA -is one of the the quintesential venues for good music. I'm sort of bummed I can't party like I typically would, but what can you do? It should still be agood show. Number 2 on my top ten reasons to live in LA- great music scene almost any day of the year.

Although i wish i could, i can't say what will work for you, but for me, eating saltines helps calm my stomach. Oddly enough, when i am feeling queasy, bananas also help, but for me, they have to be at the EXACT ripeness i like, or they can make me sick (talk about a backwards result). I have issues with food textures and "mushy" is one of them. Ginger tea is a great stomach calmer for me, too. Or flat gingerale. I lived on that when i was barfing from chemo.
Of course, all this can only help before throwing up...
Hope some of my suggestions help. Good Luck! And Congrats.
