Early mothers day at e:mike and e:libertad
Category: family
We did mother's day early for Paul's mom since (e:mike) and (e:libertad) aren't here for this Sunday. We went to some seafoody restaurant in Hamburg called Lucia's on the lake.

I got to see some of the many napkin holders Mike and Dave bought.

And eat these amazing ice cream sandwiches (e:libertad) made.

and spent an hour talking about how we're all gonna die.

End of tax season party
Category: allen st.

We got (e:terry) back.

The only pictures I have of the party are the Newfie neighbor megafloofs and a drawing of the dog. The food was tasty and so is sleeping under (e:terry)'s desk.

Here's the flyer (e:xandra) came up with, pretty sweet.

Spring cleaning
Category: house
(e:terry) and I spent four and a half hours cleaning the gutters and the windows in one(!) room. It was worth it if only for the fact that our yellow room looks so much nicer, but if we ever move I'm never living in a house this size again.

I didn't realize how grimy the windows were until I had was able to compare these cleaned ones to the schmutzige ones.

After we finished we walked with (e:paul) and (e:mike) who got back from the outlet mall.

Birdy birding
Category: nature
(e:terry) and I joined a birding group on facebook (yeah I know) and we've seen a ton of photos of cute little warblers posted. We rode our bikes through the cemetery to see if we could see any birds. Allegedly now is the best time to see them, as they're stopping on their migration north and there are no leaves on the trees.

Unfortunately I have no idea how to bird, so we only saw geese, ducks, robins and this furry woodchuck.

After we went to walk Midnight at my parents' house. We finished the day with dinner at Zaiqua on Delaware. It's a delicious Pakistani buffet with a ton of veggie options, and they give you a paneer fry. A little greasy but I'd go again.
