Swing Buffalo's biggest event ever is happening in just under a month. Swing Buffalo has invited two international champions in Lindy Hop and Balboa to teach a weekend workshop on the UB North Campus. It is open to the public. The event features 8 hours of instruction from Valerie Salstrom & Davis Thurber, two swing dancers with an award sheet too long to list here. We have also 2 more hours of local instruction, a Jack n' Jill contest, guest DJ's from Pittsburgh, Ithaca, and Albany, performances by Queen City Swing and the Waterloo Swing Crew, a dancestore.com shoe table, a welcome dance at Curtain Up! downtown dancing to Babík, 3 dances, and all at a very low price! Both SwingBuffalo.com and the UB Swing Dance Club are subsidizing the cost of this workshop to make it affordable to all. It's even cheaper than taking classes here locally, so don't miss your chance to get awesome talented Lindy Hop and Balboa classes from international Champions traveling in for 1 weekend only from Cleveland and Pittsburgh! Our monthly dance "Buffalo Hop" is starting up again this year for the summer. It was a huge success last year. This run will culminate in a national level workshop in September.
