I am having trouble writing a javascript that will print an Adobe Illustrator file and dynamically print each layer to a different postscript file.
I have been successful at creating a script that will print each layer, but it prompt's me to name the script and choose a folder.
Does anyone have any idea what the code would look like that would name the postscript file by the name aready given to its AI layer.??
I know javascript pretty well for use on the web, but creating scripts that run in illustrator are more difficult because I don't know the objects.
The only documentation I can find is that which is on the Adobe site, which is a marginal help at best.
Thanks to anyone that may be able to help.
