Car Vs. Driver
I appologize for the lack of interesting programming the last couple days on the radio.

Today I am playing Car vs Driver for the whole day. Most of the songs are of the album Deja Greatful. They remind of Tugboat Annie with a little more energy. I believe you could classify it as emo but with more rock.

Here is a description of the Deja Gratewful Album from the web:

1st LP, a true fucking melodic emo rock blast and classic stuff - it rules!

I first heard about them when I lived in South Carolina back in 1996. My roomate Lauren was from Viginia and she had the album Deja Greatful. I believe they are form somewhere in the South but I am not sure.

One time back in 1997 I went to a Vegan Dinner in the Univeristy Heights area and they were playing a Car vs Driver album but since then I have never heard them outside of my minimal collection which I aquired on Napster in 2000.

Their album names are Lunchbox, Deja Grateful, and Out of a Silent Sky. I found that you can purchase Deja Grateful (album) here at this British store for 22 pounds. They never released CDs as far qas I can tell.

There is so little information. Here is a link I found on the web to one of their songs.

REM Bootleg Day
Today we are playing bootleg REM from bootleg tape cassettes. These are not just liev songs found on other albums, they are live songs that exist nowhere else. Some are compilations with bands such as The Golden Palominos, Natalie Merchant, and Billy Bragg.

Somewhere, I also have a dub of a vinyl Album named Georgia Peaches that a friend picked up in Georgia in the 80s but I have not converted it yet.
