For all intents and purposes, yesterday was the first day of Buffalo spring. To me, this is signified by walking two blocks and running into ten people. Yeah. It sure feels good to get out of the house.
And speaking of getting out, it seems that concert season has also begun. Matt Pond played two good shows last weekend at New World and Nietzche's. Next week brings Bob Dylan and THE SHINS!!! Then there's Hot Hot Heat, The Futureheads, and Oasis. And I get to go to Coachella - that's hitting the motherload.
Now if boy season would just begin, I'd be all set...

Broken Social SceneYes, (e:southernyankee) and (e:terry) - it was Broken Social Scene. They rock! And I'm not just saying that because they're fun to hang out with.

Nice Guys - Enough is EnoughYes, it's tough to find a cool girl. Don't you think it's just as difficult, if not more difficult to find a good guy? Think of all the scumbags you know out there!
Hmmm...I thought (e:jason) didn't like generalizing about people based on political affiliation.
If I were a conservative boy, I'd hang out at Mother's and Colter Bay. There seem to be a lot of cute conservative girls there. I know because I'm friends with some of them.
Let's face it though. Meeting compatible people is next to impossible. And bars are just about the worst place to meet someone. Unfortunately, they're just about the only place.

Almost TimeMy holiday festivities officially begin tomorrow. In addition to some parties, my supervisor has graciously offered to give us a Christmas happy hour next week. We leave work early and booze "until his credit self destructs." That rocks!
