It was expensive and basically just about food - and not even particularly high quality food. I would say you are better off spending the money on a nice greek dinner and reading a book about greece. I wouldn't go again.

Child Labor in the kitchen?

Greek Coffee is mega disgusting compared to Italian. I would never try it again.

Loukoumi (WIKIPEDIA - Loukoumi) - This stuff tastes so good. There was this really amazing rose flavored ones. They are also called Turkish Delight.

turkish delight... i've always wondered what it tasted like since reading the lion, the witch, and the wardobe.
Greek coffee [ie, Turkish coffee] is usually much better than Italian coffee, when it's made properly. Whereas espresso is burned, bitter, and generally quite foul, Turkish coffee is much easier on the palate, especially when flavored with cardamom. Traditionalists say it should be 'black as Hell, strong as death, and sweet as love,' but I prefer mine half-sweet with baklava or unsweetened with a small glass of Bärenjäger. However- under no circumstances are you to drink the sludge!
<rant>As with espresso, Turkish coffee is one of those things that you either love or hate. Yet I fail to understand why you can get a $3 demitasse of motor oil^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hespresso prepared 75 different ways at any erudite coffeeshop around here, but when you ask for Turkish the barista's eyes glaze over and they start drooling.</rant>

Hell, I could have told you that about the Festival. I literally live two doors away from it and don't bother. $5 at the Towne gets you a better meal by far. Coffee still sucks, but is much more affordably sucky.
