New Title Missing Notification
I added a check, to make sure that each journal entry had a title when posting. Some people had been forgetting to post them with their entries and while it may seem insignificant on your journal, it is really important for the search feature which lists results by title, as well as, for future structural designs.

Thanks for understanding.

New Postcard - Fixed Scanner
image
I just got my scanner to finally work again. It was stuck in lock state for two weeks which meant it wouldn't work. Just before I left to buy another one, I decided to take it apart and was able to fix it. So I scanned a leaf from one of our plants and made this new e-card.

I was supposed to be at school now but I left my keys at the office yesterday so I couldn't go.

Buffalo, Divided We Stand
image
In response to Robins's journal. There is no myth or mystery. In Buffalo, there exists extreme racism to the point of almost absolute segregation. I rememeber when I moved to South Carolina for College, I thought it was weird that black and white people sat on separate sides of the cafeteria in 1995! Here up North it is no different. The neighborhoods are totally divided. So much so, that in my High School there was only one Black person.

I think the idea is that after the Civil Righst movement Southern Blacks moved up north and then started to work in the factories, which made the white immigrant offspring angry. So they divided the city in half and put each one on its own side. Sadly, they are by no means equal.

What's really insane to me is that Soyeon said she has never seen racisim before, she is from Korea, and suggested she wanted to travel to the South just to see what the phenomena is all about. I told her she didn't need to go so far.
