The Search is On
tis Dan,

So the search for a drummer is on. If anyone is a drummer you can contact us at our email below. I also put a classified ad up at . I've gotten 2 repsonses, one from a guy who's in a band, but said he'd come down and jam with us so we could get an idea of what a good beat will sound with our songs. Which is cool because we need to perfect these songs, ideally we want someone who doesn't have any attachments so we could have them all to ourselves, but hey we'll take what we can get for right now...the other guy said he's come down if we lived close, I haven't heard back from him yet :/

So the search continues, I 'd really love to bring in my old drummer from high school, he was amazing, but of course with great talent goes great problems. He basically dropped off the face of the earth, I remember once in high school he slept in a dumpster after running away from home, so he might be dead now, I lost track of him about 2 years ago.

Jay an I played a little but last night, I'm having mad problems with the chorus to one of the songs, it's like I'm missing a note or two, what sucks is that I'm not sure were the riff should go. I'm kind of mentally stuck on it. I think I might need to free up my head with some gin, or maybe this weekend after I work one of my long shifts the sleeplessness will help me. I also need to still get a set-up done on the bass, get new strings and have them adjust the action on it. My fingers are killing me from playing it. Although it might be all this typing I'm doing lately...nah it's the bass.

Rachel - thanks, i wasn't sure if it was a good idea but after some prompting from Paul and intrest in the idea from band mate and reality tv hater Bill, I figured we had to do this. Just wait till we start talking about practices, it's might get a little crazy here

Hi I'm Jay
What's up everyone! Sorry for not coming on sooner and introducing myself but as Billy put it I am computer illiterate so I tend to avoid logging on!! I'll start out by telling you a little bit about how I started playing. Since I was in 4th grade I played the saxophone in my school band and jazz band. i enjoyed it for a while but it got to the point where I hated lugging that bulky saxophone case to school everyday. Any way music has always been my biggest interest and I knew that pursuing my talent was always something I wanted to do. So my senior year of high school (About two years ago) I skipped school on a cold winter day and went over to a friends house. It was there that i saw a friend play the guitar for the first time. I was so intrigued by the way he could play any song that was requested and how natural his hand was moving along the board. I instantly thought of how I needed to be able to do it!!! So an hour later I was in a music shop trading in my bulky sax for a guitar. Putting it lightly my mom was pissed but she later realized it was the best decision I had ever made! I have been playing for to years now and not to sound conceded but I consider myself a natural! There is nothing I enjoy more that picking up my guitar and letting my creative juices flow. Now back to the present!. I meet Dan and Billy and things just clicked! We where playing together for two weeks and we where writing songs, that to me are unbelievable! Although we are in the beginning stages I feel that we have potential that is unmatched to anything I have heard in a long time!!! So in closing I hope this site is a good outlet to show you just what I mean. So keep updated this band is gonna be big!!!
