We need more writers
These numbers are good but what is it was 50 and 80 instead. Do you all think we should really resort to paper flyers. It seems so anti-tech but it might be what it takes? Any other ideas to draw in new writers. Like I said before the readership keeps growing up but we would like to have more writers, and it would be nice to have a broader age spectrum. Right now we are mostly in our mid 20s to mid 30s. Maybe more teens and more adults? Any ideas?

If you are a reader only and are reading this, why not sign up for account today. It's free and you get a huge local audience. We are also looking for people to have their own radio shows. Anyone want to start a local recipes journal? What about a historical places in Buffalo journal, a Buffalo parks journal, sport and recreation journal, anything you can think of. Sign up today! Maybe I should make it a contest. The person to have the most people sign up and start writing a journal wins a prize. I'll work on that.

Spell Check
The spell check has had its final update for today - okay maybe not because I am obsessed with programming it. I redid the way that the data moves between the boxes so that it should be faster and work on all systems, including EVEN SAFARI for OS 10.1 I know, you are probably saying, "that's impossible!" But no, thanks to the close election, I was up all night working on it and by this afternoon was able to make it work just like I wanted. The best part is that now that there is no form involved I could simply move the little button where I wanted it. I will probably stylize the whole thing sometime very soon.

New Color mixer
Here is an example of the new possibilities with the background and text color mixer. To use it simply click on the color selector in your journal publish box. If you have it in background mode, it will select background colors for your journal entry. If you have it in text mode, it will select text color for your entry. Just click on the color swatch in the color mixer window, to copy the color code into your journal. [bgcolor]#efe000[/bgcolor]

Quotes and Font Color
Quotes

You can now set a block of text to be styled as quoted text using the quote style in the stylebox. It styles the text and puts quotes around it for you. This is a great way to set certain text apart when taken from another sources or when quoting a person.

Color Picker
You can now specify an unlimited number of font colors using hex values with the # (e.g. #FFFFFF is white). Luckily you do not have to know the html hex values for the colors and can you the handy dandy color picker I made for your your control panel.

Here is black text for halloween.
Here is orange text for halloween

You can also specify colors by html colorname. Those names are listed here
