New News feedsI added about 10 new rss news feed to the rss box. If you need something to write about, you have no excuses now, haha. I will be making the box public to non-logged in users shortly and adding features so you can pick your default feed and add them to the list. Thanks for the syndic8 link (e:sqb) !

RSS feedbackHere is the situation the rss which now includes images and line returns using HTML markup. This irritates the hell out me, because I feel that it is leaving the original point of rss, simple syndicated news text and replacing it with little web page feeds. Why not just visit the site if you want style and images, right? Well, a bunch of people have asked me for the images. This leads to the problem where I have to put the entire entry text into CDDATA to blog it from being validated. Those of you that understand this, what do you think?
I mean it is convenient to have the rss feed serve the images, but then having HTML markup in the feed makes it not as "tasty" for others to syndicate. Mmind you other people are doing this all over. For example boingBoing.net, my favorite news on rss at
They even use styles and css. Should I have two feeds?
