New features for Data Lookup Links
Today I am introducing more e-features in celebration privacy invasion. Just kidding, but it doesn throw a new twist on data mining.

If you would like to link to a buffalo or surrounding suburb street map location simply click the mapquest link in your style box and type the street address into between the map tags. You must use a full street address. For example, "230 Lexington Avenue" (MAP TO: 230%20LEXINGTON%20AVENUE). Do not add city, state or zip, or apartment number information. This is great if you are having a party and want people to know where it is or if you are going to an event or bar and want to put a map to the location. For example, last night we went to Squeaky Wheel and it would have been convenient to add a (MAP TO: 175%20ELMWOOD%20AVENUE) so other people could have gone down.

Forever Elmwood Links to Elmwoodstrip
Thank you Robert Franke of Forever Elmwood for adding a link to our site on the front page of the Forever Elmwood site . I hope this brings in some new people who are interested in talking about community development on their journals. In return, I have put a link to Forever Elmwood on the info journal. Here is a to a video interview we made of some Forever Elmwood members at the Bidwell Park Concert series.

New View Statistics
As requested by (e:keith) , I have reset the number of view on each journal and made it so that if you are logged on and look at your own journal, it doesn't get counted. This kind of sucks in a multiuser house like our, because now we always need to log out when done, as to make sure ours get counted! However, it is more accurate and I think it's a good idea.

If you would like to see a list of everyones total views, just check out the status page, found by clicking on the ? in your control panel. There you can find out the total view, toal entries, and online status of anyone, as well as send them an email - just click on the username.

Finding Users Without the Drop Down List
I got rid of the drop down list in order to speed up load time, reduce code bloat that will only get worse as we get more users and to move the user pic, link, and stats up.

In order to make up for this I have added an alphabetize function to the (more) list which allows you to view the list by update date(default) or alphabetized. Click on (more) on the "Last 11 Since" box (notice 11 now) in order to see what I am talking about. I also moved the random journal link there, right next to the more link.

I also added a little record of your last visit on the site to the statistics. It is the same code that shows who is online. It just remembers your last visit. Rememeber that if you want to turn off your statistics ever just use the # in your contorl panel.

And don't forget about google and site search posts. Seeing as there is so much talk of the muppets and disney, I figured I would add an example search for both (GOOGLE - muppets disney) and the site [search]muppets[/search]

Still no one has given me any info on what happend to Steve Kurtz [search]steve kurtz[/search] after the trial.
