attention mums and dads!
in this area, there are so many inventive, enjoyable and free/inexpensive things to do as a family- especially in the nicer weather. generally, smaller events slip under the radar. if they are advertised at all, it is generally buried amongst the "rock" listings in the calendar of the gusto or artvoice. there is an especially wonderful family event that not everybody knows about and i feel that i should spread the love.

storytelling magnifique runs ever saturday through mid-august near the playground area of the rose garden. once a week, heather, an accomplished storyteller, will engage your children in a magical olde world story.

if your kids won't sit still on damp grass for an hour, rest assured- heather comes with trunks and trunks of dress up clothes so that your children can act out fable while it is told. do you have a butterfly, fairy, elf, troll or knight living at home? your child will join many others in this very relaxed environment- where no single child is picked- but rather all of them.

better yet, this enchanting event is free! it will happen every saturday aroun noon- parents come with a lawn chair and a camera!

Video Audio Profiler Returns Temporarily
The profiler allows you leave leave video, audio, and text messages on the site itself using a camera, micorphone, and keyboard. You can also listen to, view, and read posts from other people.

I cannot guarantee it will be up forever, or even 24/7 but check it out. I have it runing on the test server.

Someday I hope to have enough money = bandwidth to make it a permament fixture for the site.

Calendar Blues and Oil Changes
(e:matthew) , (e:terry) and I are in Cape Cod getting the oil changed for good measure. It gave me time to think about the site.
Programming the calendar at Keith's request was apparently a waste of my time from what I can see of it's usage so far. I really did not want to do it but (e:keith) kept on trying to convince me of its merrit and now nobody uses it. I hope that changes. The instructions are on the (e:info) journal.
When I get back I will start adding lots of automated calendar features. I definately plan on adding a profile section for each user. In it you can input you birthday which will then automatically go on the calendar.
Any other ideas, email (e:paul) ?
