Even though I have to work on friday. I will start off on thursday. I think thursday at the square is one of the many great Buffalo events. There are always lots of hot ladies there. Thursday was no except ion, some of the ladies there where amazing. But that wasn't why I went. They are a nice distraction though. The first band was Breaking Point. I thought they where good. I bought a CD for the second band they did a metallica song wich suprised me "for whom the bell tolls" the girl selling Sumberged stuff was amazing also. Then the main act or headliners Theory of a Deadman. They really rocked, I had a great time. Plus the weather was great, perfect for a free out door show. They also annoced that on July 7 & 8 The Tea Party will be playing at Sphere. After words I watched the end of wrestling and watched MTV true Life: I'm dead broke. It was interesting. For anyone who thinks they are poor it would be a good show to watch and see how you compare to the people mtv featured.

I didn't do very much yesterday I started watching entourage on HBO in demand it is a good show and chated with an internet friend of mine. I admit that chating through IM's can be very nice. I'm not really a phone person but IM"s are cool I had two big pieces of Pie that where verry good. The Pie kinda was my dinner.

Today I went to see Lords of Dogtown. I thought it was very good. I have also seen Dogtown and Z boyz wich is a documentary. This is a more hollywood view of it. I have to admit it was verry good. On theback from an enjoyabel movie I stoped At Burger king for a nice lunch on the go. But I went to Starbucks for the first time. I went there to buy a CD. I know i don't know how to spell it right but i'll give it my best shot intiagony rising. I saw them I think last year downtown they are a girl band and where very good. Tonight I'm tapeing Hero, it is a jet li movie. I still have no idea what the Dyke March is. But I may go up on elmwood and see. I had such a nice walk today out in the lovely weather that I may not feal like heading back up there. Then there is some parade tommarow they are supposed to have floats and stuff who knows maybe I will head up that way. My mother also graduates again from Epire so I'm going to that but the two pridebuffalo things I don't know. I'm not gay so i don't see the point but I do like parades. On another note wow there sure have been a lot of vistors. And what is the pLabs link about and what happened to the estrip west link Just kinda wondering?

[inlink]katrina,13[/inlink] There are a lot of people who think a Casino in Buffalo is a bad idea. I'm not one of them. But I think I know some of the reasons they disagree with them. People get addicted to gambaling and lose there money. Often they are local people. The jobs are poor paying. The casino makes a lot of money and dosn't really have to share it. Crime rates do sometimes go up around Casinos that means we need more police. It could cost us more to police it then the money we will make. Casinos in New York state are illegal. That means that they can only be run if the indains own the land and run them. That is another concern. I know someone who lives in the falls and they claim that the casino hasn't spawned any devolpment like they thought it might. The indains did build one hotel but other than that the falls really hasn't profited much. Maybe next time you see one of the anti casino bill signs or bumper stickers ask the person why. I'm sure they have more valid reasons then I stated.


I myself am for a Downtown waterfront Casino. That being said I don't think that a Casino will slove all the problems, it is not an emergancy fix everything Pill. I think it is one of many things that would help the city. Somepeople think it alone will fix the city. I think that it would be good to have more jobs In Buffalo. For someone who dosn't have a Job i think it gives a lot of opertunities. Plus it takes some power away from temp agancies I think they have to much power. I think there could be a good deal made so that the state, county and City get some money from the casino. There are two very nice Casinos on the Candain side of the falls. They got them built before us cause The Donald gave money to vote done legalisation of gambaling when they first wanted to bulid a casiono in the falls. I think the idea of a walmart in Downtown buffalo is kinda a good idea because you do need a place that sells a lot of stuff since more people are moving in and the area is growing. But I think it would be better to revitalise the Main Place mall, if that is possible. What killed the mall is that all the big chain stores moved out to the Galleria mall or other malls. I would also prefer for shops to open up as opposed to a wallmart. But I don't think anyone who isn't allready downtown or close to the area would drive in just to go to a wallmart. I prefer Target my self but that is just me.

I had a good Holiday. I went to two get togathers one for only a little bit but I really enjoyed my self. At the first one I had Two pieces of Tandori Chicken and Two chesseburgers, lots of fruits, nuts and a few treats and a few drinks and chips so I'm very full. It is always nice to see people and take some pics. I hope everyone enjoyed or is enoying the long holiday weekend. It sucks that I have to go to work on tuesday but it will only be 4 days so it will still be a short week.

I am the first to admit that I don't get really political on this elmwoodstrip. I don't know all of Tim's politics. I do know that he is a preservationist and an interesting guy. He is very nice so I thought I would pass this along to anyone who might be interested.

The other day these thre guys in black suites and black sunglasses show up at my house and say I had better mention I go to tops also if I know what is good for me then they say they where never there. I'm of course kidding but I do shop at tops also. I know some people go to Alda and Sav-A-lot. The way one needs to shop is by wich place has more stuff on sale that they need. I do know somepeople use coupons and will go to multiple places in a day and get what is cheaper at both stores. I've gone to tops a couple times to get SOBE it was on sale for a dollar. But they didn't have a lot of falvors. But they did have the sobe lean wich is usaly hard to find. I'm not a lean person. This brings me to another point when you see things that are fat reduced are they really any better for you. I say not. because when the fat is reomoved something has to take it's place. Often from what I have found is that things with fat removed have much higher sugar levels. That gets me to Splenda and other fake sugar. I eat enough crap with all kinds of chemicals in it so I'm no one to talk. But if you are trying to be healthy just buy something with sugar in it. I'm sure the the sugar is better for you then what ever chemical they add that acts as sugar.
