2 weeks done 1 to go
Finally finished my two weeks of insanity in the Campaign Management institute. In those two weeks our 6 person group produced a 160+ page campaign plan for the democrat running for governor in Virginia. I really like the candidate and would volunteer for him etc because a lot of his views are similar to mine. Unfortunately that is a big no no in politics. I think that is ridiculous and will comment on it later as well as tell you more about CMI. It was a great class, but I am still recovering.

Now I have one more week of madness. Classes start. I have to complete two applications for grad school that I have not started yet, and I have to plan a retreat for this friday and get together a vision for my upcoming semester as student director of the leadership program. I just have to get through next Saturday and I will be fine. Until then, bye.

Live on National TV!!!
So if you are really bored and/or want to see me on TV, tune into Cspan and/or CSPAN2 these next two weeks. I am taking part in a 2 week intensive course on running a campaign called the campaign management institute. For more info, here is the website It is a pretty neat course and well respected. Because there is absolutely nothing happening in the world of politics right now, cspan broadcasts it. The times vary but it has been on pretty frequently on cspan 2. Here is the link to the schedule . Look for programs from American University, Campaign Management Institute. Sometimes they don't decide that they are going to broadcast it at a particular time until that time so check the sschedule frequently if you want to see it. Or just flip to cspan 2 and see if the speaker is standing in front of a big blue background that says AU. It is a great course for all you political junkies and for those who aren't you can look for me in the audience. I am the scraggly hippie looking one with the long hair and beard.

all is full of love
there is something very calming about snow falling late at night
peaceful
listening to all is full of love and adore

You'll be given love
you'll be taken care of
you'll be given love
you have to trust it

Maybe not from the sources
you have poured yours

Maybe not from the directions
you are staring at

Trust your head around
it's all around you
all is full of love
all around you

All is full of love : you just ain't receiving
All is full of love : your phone is off the hook
All is full of love : your doors are all shut

All is full of love

It has been a while
Wow, I knew I haven't posted in a while but I had no idea it has been this long. I have been busy lately. Papers, Studying for the GREs, Leadership, and GA bs. Oh, I did get to meet Billy Corgan. It was really cool. All I managed to sputter out while I was shaking his hand was "It's an honor." He said thank you. I brought a camera and took good pictures of the people before and after me, but when the person behind me too the picture of me, one of the book store assistants at the table got in the way of the picture DAMMIT. At least I have a picture of him signing my book even if the view is obscured.

These GREs may kill me. I have been trying to study 2 hours a day. That is not going so well. I am taking the test on the 21st. Not looking forward to that one.

The past two saturdays have been fun. We went to playoff games for the DC United . They are Washington's professional soccer team. It was a lot of fun. They won both of them. The one we went to this saturday was REALLY EXCITING. It was the eastern conference championship. At the end of regulation and through overtime, the score was tied 3-3. They then went to a shoot out. It took each team 6 shots before DC finally won. It was AWESOME. The crowd went crazy, the team went crazy. It was a great experience and we had great seats. How many times in your life can you say you went to a championship game, saw one of the most exciting games in Major League Soccer history, sat in the sixth row, and paid only $18?

That is all for now. Hopefully I will update more often, but no promises. And I want to apologize if I got that awful staind song in your head because of the title. Later.
