I didn't even need a coat yesterday! I have been enjoying the weather, I hope it stays warm for a few days or so, I have a life drawing class, and I need to sketch as many people as possible! More people are out when it is warm. I need to have 112 pages of sketches by the end of 11 weeks, which doesn't include the 44 hours of class time spent drawing models. In the end, I think it will force me to improve my human rendering skills, and help me to better understand how the body moves.

I realized also, that I am no good at drawing a woman as compared to drawing a man. I am not sure if it was all those years drawing superheroes, or maybe my own anatomy. A fellow classmate (an exceptional artist), her sketchpad is full of beautiful women. She says, "Only a woman can truely understand and draw a WOMAN." I am beginning to believe her, or rather understand what she is trying to say.
I am off to sketchworld, have a great day!
I feel as though I live at the restaurant on the corner. Even though it is good honrest work, I feel as though something is missing. Since I started working there, each consecutive day is harder than the previous. Wish I could work with computers again, or with aquarium fish! Sorry about the ramble, I leave you with a question...

Does anyone know how I use a .shn file. I thought it was a music cd, but I have never seen that extension!??
I have had so much planned for my semester break, and I haven't even started any of it. The main reason is that I am lazy in the mornings, and I have been putting in extra hours at work to compensate for when the semester starts.

I put my small 17 gallon aquarium together. It's a freshwater planted tank.
I wish I had room and floor support for a 55 or 80 gallon aquarium. I would set up a salt tank. I like lionfish, but I would probably start with butterflies and angels, and/or tangs.

Matthew's 50 gallon salt is beautiful! Someday I hope to have the space. I always wanted to have a clear kitchen floor and have my saltwater aquarium beneath me while I cook. You would need scuba gear to clean it!

Here is a picture of my tank before I added some small fish.
