<br />
- My dog has a southern accent.<br />
- People are *not* nicer in the south - only superficially so.<br />
- It gets hot here.<br />
- My showshoes sit lonely and neglected.<br />
- They have snakes.<br />
- There is no Elmwood Strip, no Chippewa, no Franklin, and most importantly, no Mighty Taco!  <br />
- Buffalo&#039;s really not such a bad place.<br />
- Rapidly growing cities don&#039;t have the character of old cities.<br />
- The biscuits and gravy are excellent.<br />
- The pizza and wings are not.<br />
- Labatt Blue is found in the specialty beer store.<br />
- Blizzards are much better than tornados.<br />

Hmm... the list sounds a lot more negative than I intended - let&#039;s try from the other side:<br />
<br />
- It&#039;s warm out more often than not.<br />
- Heating bills are minimal.<br />
- No snow tires, bags of rock salt, sand, shovels and other fun.<br />
- No worrying that you can&#039;t find the one missing glove.<br />
- Clear blue skies are the norm.<br />
- Average pecan pie quality seems far improved.<br />
- Jack Daniels distillery is just down yonder.<br />
