I AM GOING TO BE DOWN THERE IN THE EVERGLADES IN JUST A FEW SHORT WEEKS! I can't wait. I'm visiting an old friend for Christmas, he lives in Naples. Or well, his family does. Alligator Alley. Wow.

Sorry I forgot to post the Carolyn/Julie birthday party up here. I'm glad people came! It was fun, and er, memorable. Let's just say my fanny still hurts.

I'm liking the looks of the Scorpio ball next week. Saw a poster at Spot downtown today. Hopefully I'll see people from the site there, especially the administrator.

So, the republicans are celebrating...

Well, I don't know about anyone else, but I'm certainly not going to give them the pleasure of thinking that all of us involved in the struggle for justice are wallowing in depression and sorrow.

This is one of the reasons that CEJ, unwilling to surrender to the right wing agenda, is putting together a party on Friday, November 19th . No doubt, it is at times like these when we all need to get together, have a good time, and feel some uplift from the great people with whom we work everyday.

The movement for economic justice does not die with an election result. It will only die if we lose our humanity and never take time to unwind with colleagues and friends and realize that we are the visionaries, the workers, the progressives, the activists who are responsible, historically, for the best things this country has to offer.

SO LETS GET TOGETHER!!!

WHAT: The Scorpio Ball
WHEN: November 19th, 8pm - Late
WHERE: The Nickel City Housing Co-Op, 208 North St., Buffalo
ADMISSION: $10 if you can afford it, $5 if you can't (and if you can't afford that, we'll work it out)
Food, drink, music and entertainment will be provided.

This is a zodiac themed party - a celebration of all the scorpios who have been busy putting their sting to corporate greed! ALL SIGNS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME!
Special Scorpio Appearance by Maria Whyte and the newest member of the CEJ family, Little Liam.

Proceeds will benefit the work of the Coalition for Economic Justice

PLEASE FORWARD*****
