This Wednesday March 22nd there will be the second Open Mic this year at the former Northwest Library on 271 Grant St. It is set to kick off at 7:30pm. The admission is free, donations excepted.

You may come to perform, sign up at the door. You may come to relax and just watch. Whatever you may be looking to do, just come and do it.

This is an opportunity for you to express yourself in whatever form comes naturally. Please don't come with intentions of the negative spirit. The open mic is place where people feel comfortable with who they are. We strive to make it a space of __expression, happy or sad, a place where growth occurs and support is provided.

This event is open to all and I encourage you invite whomever you think maybe interested, especially our youth.

If you are an MC and need beats, please bring a CD with them or of course the beat box. Also I am looking for a DJ to open and close the event on a volunteer basis. If you know anyone please send them my way.

I hope 2 C u there.

peace,

I spoke with Paul that set up www.elmwoodstrip.org last night and he connected buffalotribe with this link so that all our announcements go to a blog space on elmwoodstrip.org . This allows us to connect with a few hundred more local people. If anyone has any questions or comments about this please email me.

Thanks.

I also joined the elmwoodstrip.org site. I recommend folks checking this out, especially those of you who enjoy blogging, or reading blogs... elmwoodstrip.org is different than other blog sites as it does not have ANY advertisements, and it is ALL local people.

"Think Global, Act Local"

Either way, the two groups are connected now... what a great way to get to know your community, find out about what's going on, and get involved!

Love and Light,

p.s. - to those of you who aren't on buffalotribe here is the link
if you'd like
to join!

--manually inputted by paul I will finish writing the automatic writer tonight.
