So Yesterday at the Arena was the NLL all star game.....

Now you could get things Signed and some place the bandits Danced or get face painting... I watched the LaNova Chicken Wing eating contest....































































Yeah I should have singed up for this... Didn't think about it as free food... Now the way that I think it works is that they weigh each box before and after.... They only give you 3 minutes think the winning women had 13 ounces and the guy about 16....

Winners went on the field at halftime....









So I admit I'm not sure what Right to Play is.... My guess is that it tries to get people or kids whom are poor or not Normally Lacrosse players to play? Well here are some more pregame Pictures yes the bandettes are part of them....

So as some of you may know on March 10th 2012 it is official Club Diablo is having it's last even a Funeral and it is closing..... Guess they have been selling some stuff on the web and I guess once it closes things from the bar will be up for sale... I really need to look into that.....

But before I talk about Diablo I should mention that I'm not from the Continental..... I know some people who read what I write are....
-For many years never heard of the place
-Bands I have never heard of
-Dance Music isn't really my thing
-Would have loved to find out if the legendary 3rd floor was true or not
-If said band was there getting home at some crazy time at night would be tough.....
-Back what must have been ages ago I think a saw a band out side of the place at one of those festivals might have been the art voice street fest but never made it inside......

Now I'm not going to lie and say I'm at Club Diablo once a month... In fact I don't go there very often.... But it is the coolest place in town....
-Jen sure knew how to poor a drink and was sweet and pretty
-Love the interior
-They play Rock Music not only that dance stuff
-None of that here is a line to get in crap lets make you wait....
-One Never feels out of place there.... That kid with the leather skirt on is like so what.... Or a dude with a suit so what.... Or dog collar and chain so what
- Now again I'm not a regular but it is a great place for so many people

The reasons why I didn't go that often are the same as for the Continental......
-The biggest is from downtown to around Grover is a long way at 3am or even longer at 4am , and why is there never any cabs about and do they even take debit cards?
-Yes bands I've never heard of is another reason

But again it is an amazing place and it will leave a big vast hole when it closes.... I wonder if any thing else will move in there and how it would compare....

So I guess I should list some things that I remember seeing there....
-Caught some kind of Contest with Mike after something else we went to
-Went to see DJ Curt Soma spin a couple times I think
-Purgatory Fetish :That was eye Opening
-Purgatory Fetish show 2: That was Amazing
-Cony Island cockabilly Road Show was amazing: Bands and Side show stuff it was amazing
- Think I saw a small version of that show
-A Fetish show (no photos unless you knew the person on stage) by one of the local groups Niagara Fetish of some kind
-Satan For President Art Show!!!!!
-As Summer Dies Anti Valentines day show

-Technoir Fashion Show 2 wish I would have seen the 1st one.....
-I'm sure I'm leaving something out.........How did I see the Hell's Harlots?

So kinda lost my train of thought... Remember I don't prof read I just kinda have an idea what I want to say when I write a blog then go at it... But the place will be missed by myself and even more so by others... So stop in and say your respect or for those that don't believe in funerals poor some out for Club Diablo that night where ever you hang out.....

I my self amworking on plans to go.... Don't have them all worked out... Why are Downtown Hotels so costly... I remember they use to be more then staying in Toronto and they still are it looks like.... The next day I have wrestling and it will be cold I'm sure and If I go out and get a suit I could just walk from a hotel... Don't want to try that with a big camera at 3am.... I wish I could find a fun suit you know with like flames or something or even a cool suit that would look gangsta.... Or even an all red one..... Guessing it will wind up being JC Penny black dress pants and suit jacket with black shirt and black tie?

I feel like i left something out.......

So I like the big camera but bringing it was a mistake but I didn't know it at the time my little water prof camera would have been better... Don't get me wrong the light was weird but still it would have done better... Wish I was going to Nietches but lame staying in... Part of it is the alarm goes off at 4:30 Am...

Well Yesterday's plan got thrown off a bit and then the Bus to the Movies was mega late... So I missed The First showing of Phantom Menace and saw Red Tails.... Pretty good movie... Yes even if anyone doesn't like Negros I know there are some out there it is still a pretty good movie... It is a pretty good war movie I think oh yeah and it is Black History month so it kinda fits... Didn't know it was a Lucas Films movie.... Plus the music is amazing I'll post some Youtube stuff I can find........I use the term Negro cause it is the term used in the movie as a positive....

Phantom Menace in 3D... How you make a movie that was filmed all ready 3D I have no idea... Been a long time since I've seen it and yeah it is still pretty good. So that also means it is tough to compare it to the 3D version... But the Darth Maul Glasses are worth the price so..... I still don't think I see all things 3D but a couple explosions looked pretty cool and some of the lasers and Light Sabre Stuff was cool.... Now only 5 more 3D movies wonder about clone wars... I wonder if this will set up episodes 7,8,9 only in 3D... Now some would say whats the point but... Doesn't Han and Leia maybe have a kid... And you are telling me that am A sith Lord that shoots lighting out of his hands dies from that fall? Maybe Speilberg will do them who knows.....

So Saturday Night there is the Event that sounds pretty cool I missed it last year also But don't feel like dressing up or trying to get home from it late at night... Plus don't feel like being the creepy single guy with the Camera... ARGh.... But I think things like that and like Prom Of the dead.. Are great if you are part of a couple or a lovely single chick... Or one who is single that night...HA....

Won't be Negative about the V-Day not Victory day that is what the two fingers use to mean not Peace... Not sure what I'm going to do... I know I want part of it to be seeing the 3D Phantom Menace not sure how much better it can really be It will be fun..... Maybe a trip back to Cantina Loco and just a few Pomogrante Margaritas?

Now I would love to find a huge Box of Chocolate that comes with a cool stuffed Dragon... But doubt they make that or that I could find it.. So maybe a tiger?

So V-day is Tuesday and Glee is having their V-day show that night so maybe I should just get stuff that day? But this brings up a question... Is it wrong to want to Have a 3 some with Santana and Britney? How about with the actors.... How about when 90210 was on (not the new version where real teens are the actors) and the kids where played by adults... Its funny lost the new version somewhere and Jenny Garth isn't as Pure white as she was on the original but she still looks just the same and is hot as fuck still............

I'm not going to ... But there is a part of me that says just look up the back of artvoice..... Do they even still run ads? But with all the stuff (and all sad) in the news lately with that poor girl in the tote is it even worth it...
