This past Saturday I took my oldest to her first football game. Kenmore West plays right down the street from our house and since she always wants to come to Bills games with me I figured "Hey, she's 4 -- she won't know the difference." And she didn't, in fact she asked me as we were walking through the gate if we were going to see the Buffalo Bills. Awww, she was so cute.
So once we got in I bought a hot dog and a drink and we took our seats. She enjoyed looking at all the people in the stands and watching the cheerleaders. By the end of the first quarter she was ready to leave, which I expected would come fairly early on.
Next I took her to Gin Gin on Sheridan Drive (
e:paul has blogged about it before) and surprised her with bubble tea since she learned about it for the first time on Playhouse Disney that morning. It was such a timely opportunity that I couldn't pass it up. I'm not exaggerating when I say she was blown away by the fact she saw it on TV six hours earlier and suddenly then got to try it.
Speaking of Disney, we leave in about 5 hours for Walt Disney World so I have *got* to hit the sack now and stop goofing off on my Crackberry. 'Night!
