Buki, one of the Buffalo Zoo's Asian elephants, has died at the age of 52. Buki has been at the zoo since the early 80's. She was a circus elephant before that. I remember being really excited when going to the zoo as a kid and getting to see "bathtime with Buki", where they would wash and scrub the elephants down. We'll miss you old pal.
