its 630 am. stupid work meeting.


Yesterday I agreed to work an OT day in Springville. Then I realized it was a homegame. Luckily I only hit a little traffic... I hightailed my ass as fast as I could home though...

Then I made chicken pot pie. Damn tasty!

Then I made banana bread. Damn Tasty!

Now I need to go out and find some sponsors for the next breakdance battle. We have worked out a deal wherein i can work off my class tuition by helping to get sponsors for the battles. Which is pretty damn nifty as I was worried that I wouldn't be able to afford these classes. (I can't afford them - at least till January)

So I'm trying to figure out what places I should go to that would be interested in donating money towards a breakdancing battle -
It seems as though the main themes are: energy drinks, hip clothing stores, anything associated with dance music and anybody who would have any type of interest in providing a wholesome place for the youth to come and play.

So do you all have suggestions? I unfortunately don't know the area still - so I'm at a loss for it all.

Also - I was supposed to have my new phone now. A Samsung u740 with that dual flip thingie. But stupid Verizon is requiring a deposit of $125 from me - due to a verizon landline issue that I had like 7 years ago. (moved out and my 'friends' never paid the last bills)

I am very dissapointed. I am supposed to be able to have Vcast and thus be mobile posting on Estrip all day long!
stupid verizon.

now i have to wait until ican afford the damn deposit.

Was anybody out at Marcellas on the night of the e:strip Halloween party?

If so - was there anybody who witnessed a larger fella dressed as Timmy (lassie in tow) up on stage doing kareoke with the village people?

If so - does anybody have a picture of it? video? anything?

I am doing a bit of private investigative work for my auntie. Innocent - though.. its a friend of hers and she would love to see a pic of it and chide him mercilessly for it.

Its a friend of hers that she has spoken to on the phone for a few years but never really met.

Oh and he is also going to be out tonight again at Marcellas. If you see a very tall older man - just take his pic. thats all!

e:lauren and I went back to New Paltz this weekend and oh what a weekend it was. It was a whirlwind of places to go, people to see.

It was interesting though, because it wasn't the happy and joyous reunion that i thought it would be. We spent half the time in a state of "we don't live here any more."

Suddenly you find yourself outside of all the inside jokes.

I missed those mountains though. Even this late in the season the oranges, reds and yellows of what was left on the trees and the ground just made my heart a little happy.

And we made a descision. We have chosen two of our friends (jess and wazina) and we have decided that no matter what, we are going to be neighbors. We have to choose a place and move there and live next to eachother. We are going to raise families together.

And it can't be buffalo... so alas... buffalo has become a short term solution to the grad school problem.

so serioiusly i haven't had coffee and i'm delerious in case you couldn't tell.

i'm trying to make more time for estrip. like now when i should be getting ready for work.

even though that should be a fairly not so easy task - given that e:lauren has 23454345 pages to write on here in the next few weeks and i am entereing into the crazy retail season as a salesperson. aye.

e:lauren went home for the holidays and i find myself alone for the first time in quite some time! which apparently means eating large amounts of pizza.

now i have to get my butt in gear and clean up this joint and head out to my gram's. It will be insane. lots and lots of people. my mom is one of ten.......

so now i'm just procrastinating.

if i can figure out how to post with my phone - i will. I don't see how i could actually post a mobile photo without going to a pc first. i mean i don't have an iphone like e:jim or anything.

I give my retail season resolution out to all of you know. in speaking it, i have a much better chance of keeping to it.

I promise to chill out when everybody and their mother wants to purchase p hones from me that are not very profitable at all.

I promise to not freak out when THe phones actually LOSE money due to current promotions.

I promise to remain happy and positive throughout the holiday grumbles and rumbles.

I will thoroughly enjoy my customers and look forward to their presence in my store, even if they are only paying a bill.

I will refrain from uttering complaints when they leave.

I will stop complaining about how walmart undersells us consistantly and makes it very difficult for me to deal with customers.

I will enjoy the holidays and all that there is about it. This includes traffic, christmas music, snow, and every member of my family coming in and requiring deals on phones.
