I made a doctor's appointment a few weeks ago. Had no Idea with who or where. I know, brilliant, eh?

So this morning I track down the Dr. And find that I have apparently made an appointment in Holland, NY. I'm sure I'm driving to Holland for a doctor. I'm trying to figure out if I care enough to go.

Also, one of my bottles of beer exploded while I was carbonating them. Apparently. The cooler was full of beer that was not in the bottle and I was sad for losing another.
e:Drew- How many of those 1 liter bottles do you have exactly? I'm down one, and after over watering my last batch I think Ill be short on bottles.

i have an amazing idea for a halloween costume, but no idea on how to pull it off.

SO I drove all the way out to Holland for my Dr.'s appointment, against my better judgment.

I get there and sign in. Or TRY to sign in. They have no record of me.

Oh, Dr. Patel? she moved her office over a year ago!

Its now in Olean! BITCHES!

Apparently, you should not rely on the information given on Univera's 'find a doctor' service.

Next question is...

Anybody know of a general practice doctor in BUFFALO that is accepting new patience that also takes Univera? I am irritated with this whole 'choose your own PCP' because I DON"T KNOW HOW TO CHOOSE WHEN YOU DON"T GIVE ME PROPER INFO!

Today I secured Saturday, Nov. 1st off. Which means I get Oct 31st off. Which means I get to come to halloween @ pmt! Sweet!

I also may be going to some black tie affair at the delaware mansion with a friend in lieu of her boyfriend who will be working. What does a big dyke such as myself wear to a black tie affair? A tuxedo? Seriously?

a month ago my mother informs me that her kidneys have failed due to the fact that they are chocked full o stones - they are at 7% function and that she needs to begin dialysis. When she went to get the dialysis tubes in, she was up to 10%.

Yesterday her kidneys were at 20%. The doctors are shocked and confused as to how her kidneys are recovering.They have never experienced this and are confused to whats happening.

My brother got back surgery, wherein 3 of his disks that were fused together were separated, and 2 fake disks were inserted, as well as a few metal rods. He was so excited that he could actually throw a ball for the first time in 8 years. He is no longer on 150m morphine patches and can stand completely straight.

My life has been so odd lately....

i just woke up after having a dream that I was setting up a 22 line business deal, because I got too excited in the dream from all the commission I was going to make.

I work even in my sleep.

we have decided to head to the Haunted House of Horrors and Catacombs blah blah tomorrow at 7pm. So if anybody is interested in heading over, it will be awesome.

I'm really excited for it all. I especially enjoy people who scream and cry. Seriously, I'm all about it. So ah... yeah... come on and lets go! and stuff.

Okay this was a pretty intense haunted house. I'm not one who gets scared very easily - and there were a few times that I jumped. I mostly enjoy other people getting scared. There were a few things that were odd here. There were so many really dark and really confusing mazes.
sometimes there was strobe lights that fucked you up. Sometimes its was black as the blackest night. Sometimes they put strobe lights up, and made all the walls different shades of black, so you think - oh this way looks lighter! but no you are just walking directly into a wall.

There are mirrors that fuck with you too. At one point we couldn't get out of the strobe light filled, different colored wall maze and we couldn't find help and we felt like we were going crazy! When a worker finally emerged, e:lauren must have looked like a lunatic running up and asking for help.

Then there was crawling through a wet maze of hanging vines so thick you couldn't see where you were going.

Or, the most disturbing part of the whole thing - was when you came across the outhouse and you looked inside and it was full of poo and you felt revolted, but then they squirt water at you from out of the middle of the poo and then you throw up in your mouth a little.

Very elaborate set, very cool. Definetely worth the $20 a ticket.

the neighbor doesn't seem to be aware or doesn't care that when he showers and leaves the shower window open, we see him scrubbing his hairy asshole.

seriously... between mid thigh and navel is what we are subjected to. And before any of you get excited and invite yourself over - even I can tell you that if that isn't a cold shower he is taking, he should probably just be a priest.

I am making my own halloween costume today. Or I guess I should say, I am working on it. I can't tell you what it is, because its a work in progress.

I will tease you with its very beginnings as a cheerio box...



and then after I added an Artvoice and some whole wheat flour.

I love it when Lauren sings bob marley in the morning.

Day off.

Clean: Lauren's bro is coming tonight for a NoFX concert. That includes vacuuming the couch where Lauren and I have using twine for an element of my mask and getting twine particles all over the couch.

Find cheap fabric store. I need like.... 4 yards of muslin for Halloween costume. Also some liquid stitch as I do not own a sewing machine.

Make costume. As in the cloth part of the costume. Do not ask me what I will be. I don't really know.

Work on mask. Maybe hope that somewhere in the next week and 1 day I will finish it. Holy crap I'm running out of time.

make cookies. John from work promised to detail my car. (fancy way of saying he is going to clean it for me). I couldn't let him just detail my car, so I'll bake him cookies. We will see if they last till Saturday when I work in lockport.

try (again) to get the codecs on my video editing software working so i can finally get this documentary working. Bastards.
