How do I post from a mobile device?

Publishing from a mobile device is now easier than ever. The fastest way is usin gthe obile version of the site atlink

Alternatively, if you mobile device does not have an html browser, you can publish to your journal anywhere you have access to email, including most mobile phones, camera phones, sidekicks, PDAs, and computers. In order to enable mobile email based publishing for your account you need to input the mobile email address you will be using and an optional pass code into you mobile preferences. The mobile preferences are found by clicking the prefs link at the top of the mobile sitelink

Mailed mobile entries will only be accepted from the email you have specified in the mobile control panel which is the little green phone icon in your control panel area, the area at the top that shows up after you log in. You must use a mobile pass code which you will have to type into the body of each sent posting in order for them to be published.

You can add attachments to the email which will show up in your blog post. The files can be a wav, mp3, mid, jpg, gif, png, 3gp, or swf. Herelink is an example of an entry sent from my cell phone.

Address the email to mobl AT estrip.org I am intentionally writing it without the @ symbol so that spam bots don't sent it email from the site.

The subject becomes the title of the entry and the body of the email becomes the entry itself.
