What is the elmwood radio and how do I use it?

Please note that as of January 10, 2006 elmwood radio is on temporary hiatus.

Elmwood radio is a streaming internet radio station for elmwood strip members. We often play artists and music home made radio shows, public radio programs, etc.

It is easy to listen to elmwood radio using any player that can stream mp3s. We suggest using apple's itunes as it is free and works on both mac and windows. You can get it free herelink Linux users can use xmms or realplayer.

The elmwood radio link can be found as a radio icon in the icon bar at the top of the site when you are logged in.

To find out what is playing roll over the radio icon. It shows you the current song title plus how many listeners are tuning in. To listen to elmwood radio simply click on the radio icon itself. You will be prompted to save the stream link to disk or open it with a stream-capable player such as itunes. Realplayer works too.

If you are interested in starting your own radio music or talk show on our site, feel free to contact Paullink via his journal.
