How do I use the control panel ?
Once you login, the control panel replaces the login box. The control panel allow you to access certain site features that are only for logged in members. To logout simply click on the words (logout) in your control panel.
The control panel looks similar to this, although the color may be different:
The icons from left to right, top to bottom are;
my journal - Edit or create entries for your journal.
group journal - Edit or create entries for the news journal. All logged-in members can publish on the news journal.
epad - Open your epad.
users info (#) - Display information about other users, including their online status on the site and on AIM/YIM.
preferences - Display/edit user preferences. Here you can configure site options and customize them to fit your needs.
Password - Change your password. You will need to login again if you change it.
email - Change your site email address. You will need to confirm the new email address by clicking the confirmation URL sent to you at the new address before publishing again.
aim - Change or add your AIM "AOL instant messenger" username so that other members can see when you are on aim and send you messages.
yim - Change or add your YIM "yahoo instant messenger" username so that other members can see when you are on yim and send you messages.
Forward SMS - Enter your cell phone information to have post-it messages forwarded as SMS messages.
post-it - View/delete post-it messages you have received.
