WTF???

I finally have some free time to myself and I decide to head out with my friend Billy Bob last night. He usually drives but tonight since I have decided to be a vegetarian and abstain from drinking for the month of June I drove.

We ended up at the Pink and for a night with me only drinking 2 Red Bulls I just couldn't believe how the night turned out for the weird. Bill was observing some drunk dude constantly hitting on some chick and her friend being a good friend "Cock Blocking." Well drunk dude just didn't get it and kept on hitting on her even after her friend was ultra direct and kept on yelling at him to go away.

Last call comes around and good friend's boyfriend & brother come around and things get pretty heated. I did find the whole episode quite amusing since reading the last (e:vycious) post about women. Watching this dude just persistently fire away at this chick was really an interesting demonstration on fortitude I suppose. It almost seems that sometimes if you just focus on playing the game to win, you make you own luck and you do score. For as much as we think societal rules apply there are women out there that are just of weak will and low self esteem that will fall for some guy that just keeps coming at them. I guess it fulfills some fantasy on "Wanting a guy that is willing to Fight for Them."

Needles to say drunk guy, Good Friend BF and drunk ass bro all blow up at once. Somehow Billy Bob gets shit from someone and all I'm thinking is, "I'm more than sober and in a minute I'm going to be throwing punches @ all places The Pink for something that I was not involved with and with people of whom I don't know!" In the end end GF BF exonerates us by telling his drunk ass brother that, "they're good people and just buddies." Billy Bob just laughs it off and says that drunk guy is just like his brother Dave when he drinks. The type that just get pissed and and look for a fight at any drop of a hat.

Situation averted; YEAH!

Booh Yea

1st post using a Mac and Safari

Finally figured out how to change over my Road Runner connection from a UBS plug in to a Ethernet :-/ Only from calling the AppleCare guys this morning I was informed of the BAD conseqnences of trying to connect using a UBS connection.

Other than that WOW life is much more fun of this side of the Hardware universe. All except for I still dislike the standard Apple mouse and will immediately look for a replacement.

Celebrity Fit Club M v. W

Thanksfully the season is almost over but I think I woulld have been hooked just by Screech. I am a bit embarassed to say I can totally relate to the guy. The wanting to do his own thing, the being intelligent but coming off as a smart alec smartass, the elusive communication, the "finding peace" thing and last but not least popping Zantrex 3 to lose 5 pounds.

I also have to say that Maureen McCormick (Marsha Brady) is still pretty Damn Hot. If I didn't know better I would have though she was at the most in her early 30's.

Fort Erie Racetrack

So I finally had a day off and since it was a nice day and I wanted to enjoy it. I wanted to gamble a bit but at the same time having a desire to be outside I settled on going to the track.

Here are a bunch of pics that I took when I wasn't studying the Daily Racing Form to find a winner or two.

Now I have to throw in a Food Pic. This is a favourite Canadian pastime of mine, Cut Fries with Malt Vinnegar.

Then there is the racing aspect of which if there wasn't this to begin with the whole point of being here would just about be moot for the vast majority of people.

Where the money goes. I had the #5 horse and wish I had listened to my gut instinct and boxed the 5 and 6 together for the Exacta (a bet picking the 1st and 2nd horses in order) The 6 horse was owned and trained by an excellent trainer. Andre Cappicetti.

Look at what the Superfecta paid for a $1 wager. The superfecta is picking the first 4 horses in correct order, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. You could have even had 1/5 on a $0.20 cent bet!!!

I was happy to make some money on the 5 horse

SO afterwards I ended up heading back home and at the last minute went to the Domed Theater and checked out The Deftones. (e:metalpeter) I wish I had your #. If you wanted to go I would have been able to pick you in the Blo after I crossed the Peace Bridge.

Needless to say it was a kick ass show. They played for a little more than 90 minutes and the stage show was pretty impressive. They had the light board going behind them a la NIN style.

The only weird aspet of the show was this woman that I work with was a bartender there tonight. Most of the time I really can't stand her. She's just one of those people that loves to hear themselves talk, and thinks that just because she's skinny she's hot. While in actuality I think she looks like a freaking Muppet! But I digress I did have a good time and picked up a T-shirt. So with the $23 I won @ the track I ended up spending it on getting in and a bit more on an enjoyable concert.

Huh???

I sure hope there is a movie in the works or something. I was rocking out to Journey's "Don't Stop Beieving" and then .....Black Screen???!!!???

WTF???

Like I said I sure hope there's a movie coming out soon or something.

Not that I was the biggest Sopranos fan. I think i was more enamoured with the theme song in the begining, but I grew to like Christopher and recently A.J.

Plus, it does help to pretend to be related to a main character's actor (Frank Vincent) :-( R.I.P. Which makes it even worse for this final episode.

Now why couldn't they have come close to the finale of 6 feet under??? That was THE BEST ENDING EVER OF ANY TV SERIES EVER.

Sleepwalking

I was in this place last night until 3am and I pretty much felt as if I was sleepwalking. When I was driving home I was shocked awake when two whitetailed deer were running across River Rd as I was driving home. In being my almost sleepwalking state I had someone else check my car to see if I actually did hit something or not. Apparently I did not, thankfully. It's just that in that state of mind I just wasn't sure if it was real or not.

On a ligher not of being off mentally, I'm humming/singing "Stars are Blind" as we scan the Fox News Channel at the moment with Paris being the only topic @ the moment.

What blew my mind away is they have Ann Coulter on discussing Paris? Let's have an attractive, skinny blonde with an attitude give her $.02 on the current attractive, skinny blonde with even more Money, but not as much iintelligence that is in trouble. I just think it's a bit out of the ordinary, unless Paris is somehow related to the Democratic Party.

A nice time last night

I must say I did enjoy the sitting on the porch on a perfect night to do so. Being dry for the time being did give me an interesting perspective on how (e:strip) parties take off in certian directions.

This culminated in my friend Billy-B getting thrown into a frantic state from (e:lilho) !!! Basically this ended up in me taking us out by the Airport if you know what I mean :wink, wink:

So in all, what I can say is (e:lilho) you looked hot and really made a powerful impression on my friend for his first (e:strip) party!!!

So now I just sit here at work getting ready to start. Not that I really care anymore since my days are numbered. It is just that after being in Vegas and seeing how the lower end operators on the strip function and then coming back to this Shithole there just is no comparison. F this place.

almost finished out here

I have been out here a week and to be honest I wish I could stay out here longer. This is the first time where I may have to leave something to stay here, Ha Ha.

The best part is I had to stay sober for the entire time out here and I still had a blast. The highlight of the trip was hanging out with my friend Chad from LJ. You just love the way the internet brings people together in very strange ways.

Now I have to pack and try to squeeze some fun in the next few hours before I head back to B-lo.

Oh, the mystery "guest" that sent me the message when I was leaving the Palms after a not so good session brought me a smile.

I do live in the sticks

I saw this when I was running into my local Rite Aide to pick up a script.

The funny part is that the hitching Post in the middle of the pic is an actual hitching post! I asked my Dad when I was a kid what and why there were there. Now I actually saw it being used not for a stupid decoration, but for a practical purpose for not just one but two horses.

On another note I can't believe that in 30 some hours I'll be out of here. The thing that is ghoing to really stink is that due to the meds I'm taking I can't drink for most of the time I'm going to be on vac. I guess I should take it as a sign of synchronicistic good luck and roll with it. It will be the first time that I have been in that town since the age of 17 and not lit up a marb red or drank something. I just need to hurry up and try to pack, ARGGG!

Scary but Exciting

I've been away for a while and to be honest I don't know how I would get 30,000+ views on here when I wasn't posting.

It's just that I have been sorting out what to do with my life lately. The topics of dicision range from 1. Shoud I quit my Job ? Mind you without having a place to land immediately afterward. Given this is almost suicidal since I've known people in this area that have done that and were sitting out in the cold for 6 month until they found another place to work. Then again that just could be a sign of WNY. I really don't want to whine and cry about the particulars but I just can't stand to work with the people any longer. Yes, a lot is going to change but I just can't stomach the individuals any longer and that is basically it.

In another thought I am starting to think I may be Fucked when it comes to "dating." I have to give kudos to (e:Carolinian) to his recent sucess. You still have the desire to go out there and try and make a go of it. For me I'm just like "Um..Ehh???" Basically when it comes down to it the way I'm wired sets me up for failure. If I elaborated it would be a long post and would basically frighten off any female that would read it. All I can say is that I know for a fact now that the people that drive me to show an effort in the end just are not what I want deep down inside. The people that fit my ideal just end up never getting anywhere near me by design or circumstance.

I've justified it to findout other qualities in a person and such, but in the end there are just certian laws of attraction that need to be there with relationshps and if they're not meet then you're just kidding yourself.

I'm going on a trip this week with an Ex. Basically I said you can come along if you just buy your own airfare and I'll take care of the rest. She took me up and her Mom is driving us to the airport. All I know is that deep down inside I'm taking her along as a nice thing to do since she has had a real tough time of thing lately.

When I get back I don't know what I"m going to do with my life. The thought of being free for the summer is quite appealing. Going down to D.C. and hanging out there or tagging along with my Mom to Poland sounds like even a better idea.

For the pics, I ended up going out Friday Night to Broadway Joes to see my boys play. What I noticed was someone reopened the old Mickey Rats. I suppose enough years has passed for a bar to open again on that premisis. It still has that scary feel to it as I walked by with the ghosts of White Baseball cap wearing dude past sizing me up. Missing was the trashy underage girls.
